The nutmeg was a deal breaker. The flavor overtook the pie- we could not even taste the blueberry flavor! Not one single person at turkey day dinner enjoyed this pie. Omit the nutmeg and it should be perfect though- the tapioca gives a nice texture, unlike the "gummy" texture from cornstarch thickened pies.

Gluten-Free Yellow Cake

Wow! My son is allergic to gluten so I made these just for him and they are as good as any cake I've ever tasted. Thanks for posting. I didn't have the tapioca flour so I just put some tapioca in my coffee grinder and made my own. It worked great! I also used coconut milk instead of regular milk and then frosted 'em with 7-minute frosting and coconut. They are so, so, so good. I'll definitely be making these again.

Baked Mac and Cheese for One

Awesome! I tripled the recipe then added about 3 tbsp of butter before I added the flour/spice mix and then I threw in a 1/4 cup of parmigiana. It was so perfectly gooey and delicious!

Buttery Rolls

These are the most amazing yeast rolls I have EVER tasted. Perfect. No need to alter the recipe in any way. I even made them with All-purpose flour once and they were amazing too. Great recipe.

Crazy Cake

Not bad at all! I changed the recipe a bit because I didn't have any cocoa. I used brown sugar instead of cocoa as you would with a blonde brownie, I also added a bag of chocolate chips to the batter, then I frosted the cake with Fluffy Peanut Butter Frosting found on this website. The family loved it! It was dense but moist and full of flavor. I can't wait to make it again with the cocoa!

Best Ever Pie Crust

This crust is way better then the one I've been using for the past 20 years! I think it's the extra shortening. It was light, flaky and perfect with my homemade pumpkin pie!

I just wanted to add that you can use any spices to make this sandwhich. I've had great results with Old Bay and Cavender's Greek as well.

My Best Clam Chowder

Great recipe! I had to change a few things because my cupboards were bare but this recipe is an excellent base for any variation of seafood chowder. I used 2% milk and mixed it with the flour like a roux, to about a peanut butter color. I also added a can of tuna and a can of salmon because I was short one can of clams and I wanted that fishy taste. I also used homemade chicken broth instead of water to soften the veg. The results were divine! Thanks for sharing the recipe.

Shrimp Gazpacho

This recipe was SO great! I will definitely make it again. I could not use the Clamato or any other premixed clam/tomato drink because I'm allergic to MSG- so I used V8 and added a couple of handfuls of steamed clams for extra fish flavor. It was perfect. :)
