Korean BBQ Beef (Pul-Kogi)

My first attempt at Bulgogi & this was perfect. I didn't change a thing. Marinated for a few hours & then broiled on the oven broiler pan - wonderful. I prefer my Bulgogi extremely thin & that was probably the hardest/longest part of making the recipe, but it was worth it. Will be making this again & again!

Good Old Fashioned Pancakes

Love this recipe - easy & perfect. I've tried several different pancake recipes, but this is the only one that comes out perfect 100% of the time - I do have to add more milk than called for in the recipe. Thick, fluffy, and perfect.

Cream of Brie Soup

Wasn't sure what to expect with this soup - it was like eating melted brie. My husband actually preferred it as a "dip" - thick & creamy. If you like brie, you'll want to try this soup. It's a great base & could go in so many different directions depending on your tastes. Will be making this one again & trying different variations.

BLT Salad

Was just like eating a BLT but in a salad - I added fried chicken pieces to make it a meal. Hubby said he thinks he found a new favorite salad. Thanks for sharing!

Tender Italian Baked Chicken

Made for the 1st time tonight - only giving 4 stars because it was a little dry. I followed another review that suggested baking on rack instead of the sheet - the bottom of the chicken stuck to the rack. Next time will bake on my stone pan - will follow up with another review. The flavor is very good & will make again. Thanks!

Quick and Easy Chicken Noodle Soup

Excellent & easy! Needed a quick chicken noodle for a sick hubby. Didn't have egg noodles, just used mini bowties. Followed other suggestions and added garlic with the onion and carrots. We didn't add any extra salt. Will keep!

Italian Sausage Soup with Tortellini

EXCELLENT! Worth the effort. I followed other reviews and did not use canned tomatoes (even though that would've been easier) - I'm sure that did make a big difference in the flavor. Be careful on the broth - next time I'll use low sodium. We like salt and it was almost too salty with regular beef broth - glad I didn't add additional salt. This will be a repeat soup/meal at our house. Try it - you won't be sorry.

Bacon Wrapped Hamburgers

Tried this for dinner tonight - really good. We do bacon wrapped hot dogs, so I thought why not try bacon wrapped burgers. I followed suggestions of other reviews and left out the egg (and added garlic, because I like garlic) - the bacon really changes the burger - very moist & good flavor. Was able to make the burgers just the right size for the bacon to wrap around just perfectly, using one toothpick to secure bacon to the beef - when wrapping the bacon, you could change the size of your burger to match so you don't end up with bacon wrapped on bacon, which will be hard to cook. Watch your burgers on the grill so the beef and bacon don't burn - although some charring will/should happen. Unlike regular burgers, don't let them sit for too long or you'll get burnt burgers.

Thin Mint Crackers

Oh my goodness, these are so good! I read the recipe wrong and bought dark chocolate (mini bars because I couldn't find chips). I think the dark chocolate & mint made a perfect combination. Ran out of dark and used semisweet - still good. Can't go wrong with this one. Used other suggestions and used Toll House crackers instead of Ritz. YUM! Thanks for the sweet addiction in my life.

Chicken and Bacon Shish Kabobs

One word - YUM! Anything wrapped in bacon can't be all that bad! I separted the veggies from the meat, but followed the recipe otherwise. Little time to prep it all, but totally worth it. Served with the Brown Rice recipe from this site (the one with French Onion Soup) and grilled corn on the cob. Wonderful dinner!

Best Lemonade Ever

The best EVER! I guess my taste buds have changed because now I crave lemonade. This recipe is perfect and so easy! It was little sweet - even for me, but I loved it - and I didn't change a thing. Sliced up some of the skins and put those in the pitchter. Try it this recipe - I don't think you'll be sorry. (Used about 6 lemons)

Chicken Creole with Chile Cream Sauce

We did not like this. The flavor was just not there - I even doubled everything. If I make it again, I will try adding some seasoning salt or "house seasoning" to the chicken, and then the creole/cajun seasoning, as well as combining the sauce in a separate saucepan instead of adding it to the skillet with the chicken & adding some additional salt/pepper to the sauce.

Molasses Sugar Cookies

These are AWESOME! I couldn't stop eating them as they were coming out of the oven. Even my husband liked them. I followed the ingredients exactly. However, I didn't chill them first - just mixed, shaped and baked. I did roll in the green & green sugars for the holiday. And, I though soft cookies would be better, so no more than 8 minutes. Wonderful & will be a lifetime keeper!! Thank you for sharing.

Green Chili Chicken Burgers

Excellent. We used ground turkey instead. This is a keeper. I'm only giving 4 stars because as is written, the burgers were too "wet" and I had to add breadcrumbs. I usually don't like turkey or chicken burgers, but this had me going back for seconds (well, half seconds - split the seconds with hubby).
