Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

This cookie recipe is so good i actually retired my mom's handed down recipe. My only tip is to not use parchment paper to line the cookie sheets, i find the bottms burn if you do. The best chocolate chip cookie ever!

Broiler Icing

Wonderful icing, I put it on a pineapple cake instead of cream cheese frosting and it was great. I used flavoured liquid coffee mate(vanilla)in place of the cream and it was awesome!

Old-Fashioned Mini Plum Loaves

Wonderful cake-like loaves. The syrup topping is an awesome touch. Although I found it didn't taste much like plums, the cinnamon came through and it does taste really good!! I even made six cupcakes with the batter I had left over and they were good too!

Chocolate Chip Banana Muffins

Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Muffins

These muffins were awesome! I took all the previous suggestions (brown sugar, more pumpkin and spices, bake at 350 etc) and they were fabulously moist and super tasty. I will make these again for sure!

Concord Grape Pie III

Good pie! I mashed all the grapes and then picked out the skins. It was still a lot of work but it seemed easier then separating the grapes one-by-one. I won't be making this very often, as it took my quite some time. A nice tasting pie in the end!

Caesar Salad Supreme

This was the creamiest, tastiest dressing ever. It was wonderfully tangy and absolutely perfect. I followed the recipe only substituting anchovy paste- 1/2 tsp per anchovy fillet, otherwise i didn't change anything. This will definitely get made again!!

Refried Beans Without the Refry

These bean were great, I didn't drain them fully before I mashed them so i ended up with a bit too much liquid that i had to strain out later. Next time i will fully drain them before mashing!

Roasted Tomatillo and Garlic Salsa

Wonderful salsa verde! Be warned that 2 jalapeno peppers still makes for a hot salsa. We like spicy food in our house and I would only use 1 jalapeno next time. I felt that by using 2 the hotness overpowered the flavour a bit.

The best salsa for sure. We will NEVER buy jars of salsa again. This was easy and i used a can of diced tomatoes which made it even easier to whip up in under 10 minutes!

This was a super easy and good recipe.. I used Orzo pasta as my toddler really likes it. I just cooked the pasta and added a bit of lemon juice to the whole thing.
