Super Easy Chicken Noodle Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2008
It was definetly a good start, but it needed some extra to really give it some flavor. First I cubed my chicken while slightly frozen, so it was easy to slice and would cook faster. Then I followed what the buliion label said for cubes to cups of water, which was 1 cube per cup of water. I also added 1 can of cream of chicken. I also cut up some carrots and threw them in then too. I let that all boil and cook. Then I added the noodles and let them cook as well. We dont like soups that are mainly broth so I added probable more noodles than most would as well as more chicken and carrots probably too. But my boyfriend is SUPER picky and he loved it.

Easy Decadent Truffles

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2007
I have made these several times and everyone LOVES them. I also roll them in at least 6 differnet things when I make them so there is a variety for people to chose from. I usually do Walnuts, some form of sprinkles, confections sugar, coco powder, coconut, and some otehr kind of nut, depending on what we have in the house at the time.

Burgundy Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2007
I did exactly as it said, except I used two packages of brown gravy instead of one. And while I loved the gravy on it, my boyfriend HATES wine, so he just skipped the gravy. Even though it was cooked in the wine, it didnt have a wine flavor he said, so he still liked it. And I used just a mid priced Pinot Noir Wine.

Simple BBQ Ribs

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2007
I bought Baby Back Ribs, which are already really tender so I didnt boil them, I just cooked them like twice as long as it recommended. They turned out great though! We had friends over for dinner, and they were impressed.

Real Italian Calzones

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2007
Basically I just use this recipe for the dough, which is GREAT! But then everyone in my family gets to add whatever kind of cheese and toppings they like. Everyone loved them, but the first time I made them everyone was a little weirded out by the fact their was no sauce on the calzone itself. But once they started eating, they got over it, I served some to dip in.

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Sep. 29, 2007
Everyone in my family, and extended family, LOVES these!!! And we are a spoiled family who has been blessed with being able to try very superb bakeries across the country, and these are still the best. I even make "turtle" cookies for my dad, just by adding cubed carmels, cut into fourths, and walnut pieces tot he mix when you add the chocolate chips. (Add 2 cups of each of the three and it wont be too much for the batter to hold, other wise they fall out when you try to spoon them)

Flourless Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Sep. 29, 2007
I have been making PB cookies like this since I first started baking and have found that if you dont flatten them with the fork and make them a little bigger they turn out way better, softer to be exact. (Everyone LOVES all my cookies because they are always soft and chewy even days after I make them, and thats how I do that with these.)
