Aunt Mary's Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2012
This was easy. Scaled it back to 12 serving for cupcakes. I thought the flavor was light. Cake moist. I paired it with fluffy pnut butter icing and the icing flavor was prominent. All in all good. Only change was butter for margarine.

Cinnamon Belgian Waffles

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2012
Super good! I didn't separate the eggs and I upped the amt of cinnamon to 1/2 tsp. I wanted to take a picture but couldn't. They went too fast. Well done! Nice recipe.

Candy Bar Bars

These were so easy and they tasted great. They did have a "stick" factor to them though.

Yum. It's fresh and bright and NOT weak. A great variation of a raspberry Cosmo.

Keon's Slow Cooker Curry Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2012
Made this one with light coconut milk. Had to sub cream of celery for the mushroom soup and left the mushrooms out. I love them but my guys do not. I doubled the peas and took down the curry and cayenne a bit. Flavorful and still warm. Served with a brown/ white rice combo and naan.

Sloppy Joes

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2012
Made this exactly as written and it was a disappointment. The vinegar and BBQ sauce made this nothing like traditional sloppy joes. Wished I would have read the reviews. The ingredients looked like they would meld but not so much.

Graham Cracker Fudge

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2011
My little guy LOVED these. Called them his little fudge cakes. I agree that these didn't set as well as other fudge recipes. I think one can of milk is enough. Very very tasty.

Kentucky Biscuits

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2011
These were easy and tasted good. They need more than a dash of salt though- I would add 1/4 tsp. and my baking time was 25 minutes. The middle was undone at 15 minutes. Flaky tops. Nice recipe.

Jan's NutterButter Cookie Balls

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2011
OK. These are awesome. My kiddos LOVED them. I only had chocolate morsels and I haven't been successful with using that as a "dipping shell" so we just drizzled some on top with sprinkles. Shaped them into candy shaped morsels. Only made half a batch and I will definately make these babies again. Thanks JAN!!

Buckeye Cake

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2011
This cake is way too much! Very good and very rich. The serving amount for this cake should be doubled. If you cut this into 8 pieces and ate your slice You would go into sugar shock. Half the cake easily served 10 people. Its an impressive cake. Used baker's Chocolate.

Rosemary Chicken with Orange-Maple Glaze

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2011
WOW. Outstanding. The only thing that I did differently was I kept the sauce on a rolling boil for the 10 minutes with the chicken- and I cracked the lid so the steam could escape. By that time I had a gorgeous glaze.

Weekday Pot Roast and Vegetables

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2011
It was tasty. Simple and easy for a weeknight meal. Added some peas to the mix. Gravy got more broth like as I cooked it- but it still tasted great. I didn't brown the meat first. Kiddos liked the potatoes the best. I really liked the addition of the basil.
