Slow Cooker Chicken Taco Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2011
I made this exactly as written and it is delicious! Made it a second time and substituted the beer for a can of low sodium chicken broth; added some diced green bell pepper; a few shakes of cumin; 2 oz taco seasoning packet; and a few shakes of cayenne. This is definitely on my rotation now! Can't beat taking 5 minutes to throw some food in a crock pot before work to eat like a king when you get home :)

Chocolate Trifle

Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2009
This is so easy and so delicious! I ended up doubling the chocolate pudding mixture and used 2 containers of whipped topping in order to fill up my bowl with the layers. I put a Hersey bar in the freezer for a couple of hours then shaved it with a knife then sprinkled the shavings over the top. I will definitely be making this over and over again! Thanks for sharing!

Hummingbird Cake IV

Reviewed: Oct. 10, 2009
This is a wonderful cake - and easy too! I only use 3/4 vegetable oil though and divide the batter between 2 9" baking pans. I top with a cream cheese icing (8oz cream cheese; 1/2 unsalted butter; 16oz confectioners' sugar; 1 tsp vanilla extract) The last time I made this cake I put a layer of cream cheese icing and a layer of crushed pineapple between the two layers of cake. Then sprinkled it with chopped nuts - Amazing!

Brenda's Strawberry Slush Delight

Reviewed: Jul. 21, 2009
Delicious! I only had 1 can of frozen OJ but I had some in a carton so I threw some of that in there. In addition to a whole bag of frozen strawberries I also used a bag of frozen raspberries. This drink is perfect for a summer grill out or just relaxing in the sun!

Grilled Delmonico Steaks

Reviewed: Jul. 19, 2009
This is a great marinade! The only thing I changed was to leave out the 2 tablespoons of salt. I put everything in the Magic Bullet and blended it up for about 30 seconds. I only had about 2 hours to marinate but it still turned out wonderful! I will definitely make again!
