Bread Pudding in the Slow Cooker
OMG I can't stop eating it :) I tried it this morning. Halved it and then cut the half to 3/4 so that I could fit it into my 1.5 qt crock pot. I didn't want to make a big batch first, just in case. Boy, its good. I happen to like the custardy type of bread pudding and that is how mine came out. I didn't use raisins or nutmeg because I don't like them, and since I was low on white bread I added a couple of slices of leftover banana bread. I can't wait to make the original recipe. YUM !!! Thank you for experimenting and sharing your good results.

Grandma's Fresh Apple Cake
This was a good jumping off point for me. I cut the sugar in half, used 4 oz applesauce in place of the oil, used less cinnamon and added 1/4 tsp allspice, used 3 apples, 2 eggs and then I put the batter in a pre heated cast iron pan greased with 2 Tbs coconut oil and then baked it as directed. One major problem with this - cannot stop eating it :) I think it will have to be renamed - Disappearing Apple Cake. Thank you very much for your recipe.

Extreme Banana Nut Bread 'EBNB'
This is a great recipe. I only used 1 cup sugar and used half cup olive oil and half cup unsweetened applesauce in place of the shortening. This time I baked it in mason jars at 325 for 50 minutes. It's is just as good as the loaf and you have servings for one or two in each jar as well as cute gifts. PS There is one MAJOR problem with this recipe -- cannot stop eating it. LOL
