American Lasagna

Reviewed: Mar. 30, 2010
This dish was very good. I followed the advice of other viewers and added more sauce but for our taste it still was not enough but will make this again, next time though i will use ground beef and sausage. as i was making the sauce though i thought it might be good for spaghetti as well so i may try it with that.

This is a really good recipe i have made it several times and now this is the only way i make it with just a few changes... i cook it in the crockpot on low for 24 hours then mix brown sugar, soy and appricot preserves put in oven at 350 and bake for 20-30 minutes until glaze is carmelized

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Apr. 30, 2009
this recipe was just as its name suggest "awesome" i took the advise of rockee and seasoned the meat with salt, pepper, and seasoned meat tenderizer then seared it with the oil and minced garlic transfered to crockpot then added the water au jus and mushroom soup then sliced an onion and put on top of meat and then poured the soup mixture on top cook for 5 hours on high. served with the roasted garlic cauliflower recipe from this site ( next time i will put shredded cheese in stead of parm) and mashed potato. was sooooo good my 4yr old and 15yr old and husband ate all of it after i finished with desert (simple white cake from this site with hershey carmel topping in the middle)there was hardly enough for me, good thing i don't eat a lot
