Salmon with Brown Sugar Glaze

Reviewed: Jun. 12, 2009
I only give this 3 stars because, like JoeB, my salmon burned to a crisp! And I even measured the distance from the heating source beforehand. Next time I'll grill it --- even with the coating burned, the salmon was juicy and had a great taste. I'll make it again. Also, I used wild salmon, which is probably a better taste to start with.

Tasty Tuna Pasta

Nothing special. I doubled the recipe so we'd have leftovers. Seemed a bit dry. Probably won't make it again.

BBQ Pork for Sandwiches

Reviewed: Aug. 6, 2012
I used a 4-1/4 lb pork shoulder blade roast, which the butcher recommended. Before cooking I removed about 1/2 lb fat, and there was still fat running through the roast (which I was able to remove a lot of while shredding later). I don't know if this particular roast had more than usual, but I will not use this cut of pork again! Otherwise, I followed the recipe and it was great - used Sweet Baby Ray's Hickory & Brown Sugar BBQ sauce. In a taste test, I don't know if I'd be able to guess which is the Baby Ray's and which is the sauce I used to make, so why not save the time!!!

Tuna Melt Sandwiches

Reviewed: Sep. 29, 2010
Haven't tried these yet, but I know my husband will love them. Wondering about the butter being spread on the cut sides of the rolls. Why? I could understand if you grilled the sandwiches & spread the butter on the outside of the rolls.
