Chocolate Cornstarch Pudding

Reviewed: Jul. 1, 2009
OMG I am in shock!! I was craving chocolate and searched for a recipe to use what I had on hand. I didn't even have any milk! Made this with 2 cups water instead and added an extra tablespoon of cocoa powder...it came out delicious!! Like fudge! I really am so suprised how good and easy this was! Some whipped cream on top would make it even better :)

Yummy Honey Chicken Kabobs

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2009
These were sooo good! I let them marinate all day and added some apple cider vinegar and cayenne pepper to the sauce. I think next time I'll put some pineapple chunks on too! I cooked them on the george foreman for about 5 mins and they came out great. Also, I served them with some extra marinade on the side for dipping. My fiance loved them!

Momma's Wine Cake

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2008
I've been making this cake forever! we usually add poppy seeds and leave out the nutmeg. Lately, I've been adding 8 oz of sour cream which makes it really moist. For the wine I used sherry. I made the mistake of taking it out at 45 minutes once and it was not very good. Make sure to leave it in for 50 min even if the outside is getting brown. Next time I'm going to make it lowfat by using apple sauce. I think it will taste the same but I won't feel so guilty!

Tomato and Mozzarella Bites

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2008
This was the easiest appetizer I've ever made! Such a good idea and so simple. I drizzled vinegar and olive oil over them and sprinkled with salt and pepper. Yum!

Mom's Favorite Baked Mac and Cheese

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2008
This is the recipe I always use for mac and cheese. To make it healthier you could add a little less cheese to the sauce and it still tastes good. I usually leave out the onion, too.

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2007
These really are the best cookies I've ever had!!! I made 1/2 the recipe and it came out to about 24 medium sized cookies. I even omitted the dairy by using egg replacer and earth balance instead of butter. I will definitely make these again soon! Thanks for an amazing cookie recipe!!!!!!

Bacon Roll Ups II

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2007
I had these this weekend. They taste much better using a cheddar cheese spread (like Kraft in a jar) than with regular cream cheese. Try them with cheddar!!

Chilled Marinated Asparagus

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2007
My ex-boyfriend's mom always made this for Christmas. It tastes amazing! I got the recipe from her last year. The recipe she used only calls for about 2 tablespoons of oil, which would make it healthier. We also used white sugar instead, but I'm sure brown would be good. I can't wait to make this again!

Dirt Cake I

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2007
Yum! I made this last night for a Halloween party tonight. I only added 1/4 cup sugar, because 1/2 cup just seemed like a lot. Also, I left out the butter because I didn't see any point in adding all that extra fat. The filling came out really tasty and I made it in a flower pot so it looks like real dirt. Definitelty fold the cool whip in after you mix the pudding and make sure the cream cheese is very soft. We'll see if everyone eats it up tonight!

Spinach Dip with Water Chestnuts

Reviewed: Oct. 19, 2007
I've been making this for years!! I put it in a bread bowl and serve it with the torn up bread. I haven't tried the green onions in it but they sound good. Everyone loves it and scrapes the bowl clean! I usually use Korrs dry veggie dip mix because my mom alawys said it was the best! Yum

Pizza Dip

Reviewed: Oct. 16, 2007
I got this recipe from a friend's mom. It is so good!! Just like pizza. We added about a half a can of articokes and used sockeroni pasta sauce. It is amazing with homemade pita chips (cut pitas into little triangles and brush with butter. Sprinkle with salt and bake about 15 min until slightly crispy!! yum!)
