Onions Baked with Rosemary and Cream

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2009
There's nothing wrong with the recipe, I like all the ingredients in it but I just did not like this dish. I don't think the cream adds anything too it and the onions were mushy.

Simple Time Pork Chops

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2009
I also added a can of Cambell's Fiesta Nacho Cheese to the bottom of the pan and used chicken because I did not have pork on hand and now this is my husbands favorite dinner

Quick and Easy Alfredo Sauce

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2008
This recipe is awesome!!! It will replace the one I already have in my file. I made two changes. I used fresh garlic and I used half milk and half cream because I'm not worried about the fat content. It does make alot, at least enough for four adults. Not sure how it reheats, I havn't tried to reheat it yet. Yummy, thanks!

EAGLE BRAND® Frozen Peanut Butter Pie

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2008
I don't reccomend the crust...I would go for a pre-baked ready pie crust for this. Mine got chewy and it was hard to even out in the pie pan. Also, I think there was an error in the recipe. I think the amounts of Vanilla and Lemon juice should be switched. Way too much lemon and not enough Vanilla to me. Not sure if I would try this one again with so many more different recipes out there.

Southern Mushroom Soup

Reviewed: Sep. 27, 2007
This was so awesome I even surprised myself. As per another review, I also used garlic powder and worchestshire sauce, which I believe is the key ingredient. I cooked the onion first before simmering in the broth. Since my husband wasn't ready for dinner yet, I think I cooked it a lot longer than sugested but I kept tasting it as I waited and it seemed to get better the longer I cooked it. I didn't put the bread and cheese on top but I did add shredded/cooked sausage links but I'm sure it's just as good without it.

Rum Cake I

Reviewed: Aug. 29, 2007
I actually found this recipe someplace else but it's exactly the same. This cake is so awesome I didn't even want to share with anyone. I had to change it becuase I didn't have the exact ingredients it called for so instead of a yellow cake mix, I used a double choc cake mix and instead of vanilla pudding, I used choc pudding and intead of Rum, I used Southern Comfort! I also recommend you let it sit over night and eat it the next day so the flavors come together. And when your pouring the glaze on....make sure you pucture the cake all the way to the bottom so the cake is moist throughout and not just on the bottom after you invert it.

Sausage Cheese Bites Snack

Reviewed: Jul. 4, 2007
These are really tasty and a great on-the-go breakfast but I made them with only 2 cups of bisquick and they still came out too doughy. Next time I make them, it will be even less bisquick and more cheese. The sausage flavor is very light so you might want to add some seasoning. I also reccomend you turn them over once during cooking to brown both sides. Next time I'll shape them into patties and not balls.

Amish Macaroni Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 4, 2007
I read other reviews and agree that the original recipe asked for too much sugar. I only used 1/4 cup and it was just fine. I also added chopped ham. I did not have red pepper, so I used 1 oz. of chopped pimento's and it tasted the same. I brought it to a potluck at work and everybody loved it.
