Stuffed Chicken Breasts with Artichoke Hearts, Feta Cheese, Capers, and Black Olives

Reviewed: May 12, 2011
I was getting bored of making the same old thing and fell upon this recipe. It is so good that I am making a second time tonight. I didn't have time for the chicken to marinate in Italian dressing so instead used a pack of McCormick's Grill Mates garlic, herb and wine flavor. It doesn't have to marinate as long and worked really well. I used kalamata olives. Otherwise I did the recipe as written. Delicious!!

Broccoli Salad IV

Reviewed: Jun. 14, 2009
This was the recipe I was looking for!! I've had this at BBQ's and thought it was fantastic. I used craisins (dried cranberries) instead of raisins. I used half of a large red onion and that was plenty. Thanks for the great recipe!! I'll double it next time!

Lime Chicken Soft Tacos

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2009
You definitely need to omit the oregano and substitute it with fresh cilantro (I used about 1/4 cup chopped). Instead of cubing the chicken, I boiled the chicken breasts then shredded it with two forks. I think next time I'll double the sauce. It was a littly dry, but still had great flavor.

Special Buttercream Frosting

Reviewed: Sep. 1, 2008
This recipe was just what I was looking for. I used it to make my daughter a princess birthday cake. It was great for piping and decorating. I made a four layer cake and there was even some frosting left over. It's probably not the healthiest frosting, but it's okay to eat once in awhile :) Added note: I made this again for a 9x13 sheet cake. If you halve this recipe you'll have enough frosting.

Coleslaw I

Reviewed: Sep. 1, 2008
I just made this coleslaw for dinner tonight and it was great. I went by other suggestions and used only 1/2 cup of apple cider vinegar. I used 1/2 head of regular and 1/2 head of red cabbage. I added 1/2 tsp of dill. I'll use this dressing for cole slaw from now on. Thanks!

Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2008
I'm giving this four stars because I liked the fact that I was low on ingredients yet I was able to make these. I had everything it called for. It did however lack some flavor and were a little dry. I added one egg as suggested by a user. I used mini chocolate chips and those worked well in the bars. It just needed something else. My kids loved making them and were happy so that's what counts!!

I would give this recipe more stars if I could. There is no need to make any changes. It is great the way it is. I will try this with other fish also like some walleye. It's so easy to make and is so DELICIOUS!

This is the second summer that I have made this salad. It is one of my favorite salads to make. The combination of couscous, black beans, and cilantro make this a wonderful recipe. I make it exactly as it says.

Fresh Asparagus Soup

Reviewed: Apr. 12, 2008
This soup was amazing!! This was my first time making asparagus soup and this recipe was very easy to follow. Make sure to cut the asparagus ends off. When cooking the asparagus, onions, and broth, I made sure the asparagus was very tender so it would puree well. I did not have any soy milk on hand so I used skim milk instead. Asparagus is on sale again this week so I'm going make this soup and freeze it!

Parmesan Corn Chowder

Reviewed: Mar. 6, 2008
My family loves this recipe! I love that it's vegetarian. I followed the recipe for the most part with a few little tweaks. I didn't have shredded parm cheese so I used grated cheese instead. I also added about 1/4 tsp of ground cayenne pepper to give it some more flavor. I'll be making this soup again for some guests tomorrow!

Cauliflower-Cheese Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2008
My family really enjoyed this comforting soup. I added a chicken boullion cube to the water and veggies. I also used 7 slices of Kraft american cheese instead of cheddar chz. Make sure to season with salt and pepper otherwise it could be pretty bland.

I have made this recipe a good five times in the past year. It is the best chicken marsala recipe I've ever tried. I did add some more mushrooms, otherwise I prepared everything as it says.

Salsa Chicken Burrito Filling

Reviewed: Jul. 10, 2007
I was looking for a great recipe to flavor up the chicken in my burritos. I made it canned white chicken instead. I added rice, black beans, sour cream, fresh cilantro and sauteed red peppers, onions and garlic. Both my husband and I thought the burritos were so flavorful. I will always prepare my chicken this way for burritos. Gracias!

Crab Salad III

Reviewed: Jul. 6, 2007
This was a big hit! I used an orange pepper instead of a green one. I also did not have any black olives so I omitted that. 2 heaping tsp. of fresh dill was substituted for the dried dill. I looked at the other suggestions and used 1 tsp of sugar instead of the sugar substitute. I'll definitely make this again. Thanks!

I've been looking for a great creamy pesto recipe like this!!! I also used half and half instead. I substituted the shrimp for cajun chicken and added sauteed garlic and sundried tomatoes. Yummy!!
