Quick Brussels and Bacon

I enjoy this recipe, however... I ended up making a few changes to make it spectacular. The second time around I used a pat of butter, chicken broth and a clove of garlic minced. Even people that don't like Brussel sprouts loved it. Caramelizing the brussel sprouts changes the flavor slightly. Yum!

Balsamic Vinaigrette

Loved it! I tried this in hopes that I would have a use for my balsamic vinaigrette (since I became a vegetarian, I don't have any pot roast to cook it in!), didn't really care for the stuff... until now. My fiance who is a die hard ranch dressing fan requests that I make this all the time now. I'm so addicted! It's perfect! :) I use the pre-minced garlic that you get in jars (in oil) just to make it easier faster. Plus I use kosher salt. Wonderful!!

The Best Vegetarian Chili in the World

Oh man! Ok... first, my changes. I used TVP because we can't really afford the crumbles. I also reduced the heat slightly by leaving out 1 can of green chilies, the jalepeno seeds and some of the chili powder. Keep in mind that I am a new vegetarian (only a few weeks), so I still have a taste for meat even though I have chosen to no longer consume it. AND, also my fiance is NOT a vegetarian, but eats many vegetarian meals with me. With that being said. We LOVED this recipe! I had many non-vegetarians try it and they all loved it. It's hearty, WAY filling, and wonderfully satisfying!! The best part? Two days in the fridge made it even better! Loved it, thanks for the recipe!

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

This recipe is fantastic. It's fast, it's easy, and even the picky eaters in my house went back for seconds! I have made it 3 times in the last week because people love it so much. I like to add a can of corn to the recipe as well. Thanks for the recipe!
