Blackberry Jam

Reviewed: Jul. 10, 2012
Easy and delicious! The cornstarch thickened up the jam just fine. Thank you for sharing this recipe.

Becca's Bruschetta

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2012
Delicious! I used "Jo's Rosemary Bread" from this site as the base, since I had made a loaf earlier in the week. This bruschetta was easy to make and had a lot of flavor. I took other reviewers' advice and let the tomato mixture marinate for a few hours. I will definitely make it again.

Easy and Delicious Mexican Pork Chops

Reviewed: Jun. 27, 2012
This turned out great! I used instant brown rice, because that was all I had on hand. I used 1 c. rice, 1 can of diced tomatoes, and 3/4 c. of water with the taco seasoning and placed the pork chops and peppers on top. Baked at 350 for 40 minutes, then 10 minutes more with cheese on top and the rice turned out perfectly. Thanks for the recipe!

I have made this recipe using fresh and frozen blueberries and blackberries and it is great! I get 16 good size muffins out of this recipe.

No Bake Peanut Butter Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2010
The taste was delicious: I used a graham cracker crust and chopped Reese's cups to put on top. My only complaint was that the pie didn't set up as firmly as I would like. (It was too hard in the freezer and too soft in the fridge.) I think less cool whip might help. However, I would definitely make it again.

Homemade Flour Tortillas

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2010
This recipe was really easy and fun to make. We quartered the recipe and got 6 small tortillas. Try dipping one in cinnamon sugar right out of the frying pan--yummy!

Sweet Dinner Rolls

Reviewed: Aug. 16, 2010
This recipe was easy to make and delicious! I made 8 dinner rolls and 12 cinnamon rolls, just to try out both versions. Both turned out great. Dinner rolls only took about 8 minutes at 375; cinnamon rolls took about 18 minutes. Will definitely make again!

Magic Cookie Bars from EAGLE BRAND®

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2008
These are so good and very easy to make! After reading other reviews, I used more graham cracker crumbs and butter to make a thicker crust. I mixed them together and then pressed them in the bottom of the baking dish. I mixed the other ingredients together too before spreading them over the crust. It came out great.

Broccoli Chicken Divan

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2008
I like this recipe. I've made it a couple of times now, and I prefer it using cream of chicken soup instead of mushroom. I also add more breadcrumbs on top. It is easy to make and very filling.

Salsa Chicken

This recipe was really easy to make, and the chicken was tender and juicy. We had it with rice, and my husband loved it. I'll definitely make it again.

Jay's Signature Pizza Crust

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2007
I'd never made pizza dough before, and this one turned out pretty good. It was easy to make. We all agreed that it was missing a little something, though--next time I think I'll add some herbs. Good basic recipe.

Blueberry Buckle II

Reviewed: Jul. 26, 2007
I liked this recipe. It was easy to make and used ingredients I had on hand. After reading other reviews, I increased the butter to 1/2 c., decreased the flour to 1 1/2 c., and decreased the salt to 1/2 tsp. I also used brown sugar in the topping instead of white. I would definitely make it again.

Chewiest Brownies

Reviewed: Jul. 13, 2007
These brownies are awesome. I gave them 4 stars only because I did make some of the changes suggested by other reviewers: used extra 2 tbsp of butter, reduced cocoa to 3/4 c., reduced sugar to 1 1/2 c., and baked at 325 in an 8 inch pan for 36 minutes. I didn't have a problem with the batter being too dry as mentioned by some reviews. These brownies stay moist and fudgy inside, which is just the way we like them!

No Bake Choco-Peanut-Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Jul. 11, 2007
These were okay, but a little dry. There seemed to be too much oatmeal for my taste. My mom makes a similar recipe, so next time I'll use hers. Sorry.

Mrs. Sigg's Snickerdoodles

Reviewed: Jul. 6, 2007
These cookies were very good. They took exactly 8 minutes to bake, and my oven usually runs on the cool side! As recommended by a previous reviewer, if you don't want crispy bottoms to the cookies, just dip the tops in the sugar and cinnamon. Also, the dough is easier to work with if you chill it a bit before rolling into balls.

Oatmeal Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Jul. 4, 2007
These cookies turned out great--very soft and chewy. I halved the recipe but still used 1 c. of oatmeal and the recipe made 3 dozen medium sized cookies.

Ice Box Fruitcake

Reviewed: Jul. 3, 2007
I am from NC and this is very similar to my grandmother's recipe--she used graham cracker crumbs instead of vanilla wafers and added lots of spices: cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, cloves. Now my mom makes it every year at Christmas.

Soft Peanut Butter Cookies

These is the best peanut butter cookie recipe I have found. The cookies turn out soft and stay soft when stored--that is, if there are any left!
