Cranberry Sauce

I loved this and it is way better than canned sauce. I used a navel orange rather than the orange juice. Since we wanted a smooth sauce I pureed this in the blender and strained the sauce to remove the seeds. It tastes wonderful and I love the combination of orange and cranberry. I will never buy canned sauce again when homemade is this easy!

Cinnamon Raisin Swirl Bread

Delicious bread! I doubled the filling recipe because I wanted it extra cinnamon-y and it was great. This would be great with a powdered sugar glaze over the top after baking. This would be a nice bread to give as thank you gifts or during the holidays. Thanks for another great bread recipe!

This was great bread! I did have to add extra buttermilk to make this come together. It was delicious and I'll definitely make it again. I used green onions as other reviewers had suggested. Thanks for the recipe!

Authentic Kicked-Up Syrian Hummus

Great recipe for hummus. I always roast my garlic for hummus since I don't care for raw garlic. I ended up using the equivalent of two cans of beans and not as much lemon juice since I didn't want it to be too tart. I added black pepper, extra olive oil and water to puree. It turned out great.

Perfect Pita Chips

These turned out great. I only used kosher salt, garlic powder and paprika and didn't find the need to add garlic salt as well. 15 minutes was the perfect time for them to be crispy in my oven.

Marshmallow Treats

I had leftover marshmallows from a campfire roast and wanted to make these. I couldn't find the recipe anywhere (on the marshmallow bag or cereal box) and I knew I could come to Allrecipes to find it. This recipe turned out great and tastes just like what I remember from childhood. Thanks for posting this here.

Brooke's Best Bombshell Brownies

I followed advice of other reviewers and decreased the sugar to 2 cups and the bake time to 25 minutes. With these changes they turned out perfect. Any more than 30 minutes baking time and these would have turned into biscotti. I don't like overly sweet desserts and 2 cups sugar was the perfect amount for me. Thanks for the recipe!

Chocolate Cream Pudding

Great pudding recipe! I used three ounces of chocolate instead of two because I wanted a more intense chocolate flavor and I also didn't want this to be too sweet. The level of sweetness was perfect with three ounces of chocolate. I tempered the eggs first (by adding spoonfuls of the hot mixture and stirring) and then added them into the hot mixture. It took mine a while longer to thicken and for the chocolate to melt. In the end, a great home made pudding recipe.

Chicken Seasoning Blend

Great seasoning recipe! I mixed this up and marinated boneless skinless chicken breasts with this mixture and olive oil to coat. We grilled the chicken breasts but I think this would be great with roasted chicken too. I definitely tasted the celery seed which was different and I liked it. Thanks for a great seasoning recipe Patrick.

These are great cookies but I experimented with the baking temperatures to see which is best. I followed the directions exactly until baking them. I baked one batch at 300 degrees and those turned out very pale and soft. The next batch I baked at 350 degrees and those turned out crispy on the edges and chewy interiors. The 350 degree batch was my favorite. Fresh out of the oven, these tasted very sugary. Tasting them today, they are soft and not as sugary as tasting them last night. A good recipe but for me is better when baked at 350 degrees.

Mad Hatter Salad

I was looking for a recipe to use sunflower seeds and found this one. I'm glad I did because it's wonderful. I used what I had on hand so I had to make some changes. I used white wine vinegar instead of apple cider vinegar. I also decreased the sugar to 1/4 cup and it was sweet enough for me. I toasted the nuts and ramen in a few tbsps of butter instead of one stick because one stick seemed excessive. This is a great recipe and one I will make again and again.

Chicken with Chipotle

This is a fantastic recipe! I couldn't stop eating it. I love spicy foods anyway and this one had such a deep, rich flavor to go with the smoky heat. I used boneless, skinless chicken breasts instead of leg quarters. I sauteed the breasts in olive oil and then added the sauce and let them finish cooking in the sauce. It couldn't have been quicker to make. Thanks for a great recipe.

Valentino's Pizza Crust

Great thick crust pizza! If you love thick, pan style pizza dough then this is the recipe for you. I doubled the recipe which made three large 12 inch pizzas which I baked at 450 degrees in a preheated oiled cast iron skillet. This dough has great flavor and reminds me of Pizza Hut's dough. I mixed this in my bread machine and did have to add about 1/2 cup extra flour. I will use this recipe often thanks!

Whole Wheat Oatmeal Bread

This bread has fantastic flavor and texture. Since I didn't have dry milk powder I substituted regular milk for the water in this recipe. I made no other changes though. The bread turned out great and I will be making this one often. Thanks for a great recipe!

Graham Cracker Crust

The store bought crusts always taste stale to me so I try to make my own. This recipe is the perfect amount of sugar and butter which results in a light crust that isn't too dense to cut through. I always bake mine because I like the flavor. Thanks for this easy recipe!

Crispy Fried Chicken

Thank you, thank you, thank you for this recipe! I've made fried chicken before and it was tasty but never turned out fantastic. This time it was great. I had 5 very large bone-in, skin on chicken breasts. I marinated them in buttermilk and hot sauce for six hours. I mixed flour, salt, pepper, paprika, onion powder and garlic powder together to dredge the chicken. I fried this in my cast iron dutch oven because I was afraid of this boiling over. This method of covering the pot for 30 minutes gave me perfectly tender and juicy chicken. The crust was very crispy too. Thanks for my new go-to fried chicken recipe.

Butterfinger Chunkies

These cookies are not my favorite. I've had this recipe in my recipe box for ages and have been wanting to try it. Unfortunately, they are achingly sweet, so sweet if you ate too many you would have a headache. They are thin and chewy cookies. The dough is very greasy and I put it in the fridge a while to firm up. I can see how everyone loves these but for me they're just too sweet.

Lemon Yogurt Muffins

This muffin is yummy lemon goodness! The muffins turned out light and tender, kind of like mini pound cakes. I used the zest and juice from one lemon for the muffin mixture since I had plain yogurt. I did need to add a few tablespoons milk to thin out the batter since I used thick Greek yogurt. I didn't measure out the lemon juice for the topping and just went with the juice from another lemon. Mine were done at 15 minutes so make sure to check them then as other reviews have stated.

Blueberry Buttermilk Coffeecake

Another fantastic recipe from this site! I had a lot of buttermilk to use up and picked this recipe since I had fresh blueberries in the freezer. I didn't make any changes to the cake mixture but did add a little cinnamon to the topping. The texture of the cake is so light and fluffy. All my blueberries sank to the bottom even though I tossed them in some of the flour mixture. It didn't matter though because it tastes great. I think this would be great with brown sugar and pecans in the topping too. Thanks for another great recipe!

Blueberry Lemon Loaf

Yummy bread! I got confused by the directions for the topping and added the entire amount of lemon zest and juice in the bread. I didn't add the topping because I used all my lemon juice in the bread by accident. It didn't matter because it still tastes good. This bread didn't rise and it is a little dense. I think since it doesn't rise much it would be better baked in an 8 x 4 inch loaf pan to make it taller. Its a good recipe but may need a little something to make it fluffier for my liking.
