Old Fashioned Mac and Cheese

Reviewed: Sep. 22, 2011
This was good! I added an extra tablespoon of flour and I think next time I'll mix the white sauce in with the macaroni instead of just pouring it on top.

Flavorful Beef Stir-Fry

Reviewed: Mar. 31, 2011
I thought this was good and healthy. Family liked it. I used flour because I was out of cornstarch. Also, doubled the marinade and cooked it in with the meat.

Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Muffins

Reviewed: Feb. 23, 2011
very good! used mini chips and didn't put topping on them... used 3/4 cup brown sugar only in the mix. Used extra mini chips. Moist and hearty, not too sweet! Kids liked them too! I also used nut topping for the pecans.

Wonderful! Have made them 3 times now. Uses a lot of vanilla extract, so I'm out! I still will continue to make these.

Cherry Cobbler I

Reviewed: Dec. 8, 2009
I really liked the flavor of this and I did use less sugar because I used frozen sweetened cherries. Next time I will decrease the liquid because it was too watery, but good! The next day after being refrigerated it was not nearly as watery. I really liked the dough.

Made these for Easter time for people who don't care for the cake I made. These were gone quickly. I love lemon and added the zest of one lemon and the juice of one lemon. Great recipe!

Easy Bunny Cake

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2009
This was a hit at Easter time. I didn't use jelly beans or licorice, just white frosting for the main part and pink frosting for outlining the bow tie. I use black writing frosting for the whiskers and eyes. And used coconut with some died pink for the ears. Will keep this recipe to make next year. My 4 year old loved helping

Brown Rice, Broccoli, Cheese and Walnut Surprise

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2009
I really liked this recipe even though I changed it a little because of what I had on hand. I used basmati rice and cooked it in chicken broth. I pretty much did every thing else the same. Used fresh broccoli and extra cheese. I would use extra walnuts next time... it made it really good.

Cheddar Bacon Hamburgers

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2009
As far as hamburgers go this was very yummy. I didn't use horseradish, instead I used some Dijon mustard. The whole family liked it much better than a plain burger. It taste like what a burger is suppose to taste like. I will use this recipe again. It was very juicy too.

Apple Oat Snack Cake

Reviewed: Mar. 24, 2009
I made this as the recipe stated. I had to cook it longer than stated because the middle wasn't done yet. The edges got a little too done but it is still very good. I don't think it was too sweet. I will make it again.
