Reviewed: May 1, 2008
Excellent! I followed the recipe to the tee, except the addition of a chopped apple. Family loved. This is a keeper. Thanks so much for the recipe!

Angel's Old Fashioned Beef Stew

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2008
I took the advice of others and added more spices to this. I also put the potatoes in it after about an hour before it was done. This was good. Will probably make again if I don't find another recipe I like better. Thanks so much for sharing the recipe!

Cajun Chicken Pasta

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2008
I really wanted us to like this one but we really didn't care for it. Maybe if I'd thickened the sauce? It was runny. Thanks for the recipe though. I do give it points for being easy. :)

Venison Vegetable Soup

Really a hit! I used ground venison and fresh vegetables and also used 4 boillon cubes. Will definitely be making this often. Thanks so much for the great recipe!

Slow Cooker Italian Beef for Sandwiches

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2008
OMG, this is fantastic!!! A definite keeper. Usually when I put something in the crockpot, by dinnertime I'm sick of smelling it. This smells fantastic!!! I doubled the salad dressing mix and used beef broth as others did and we will definitely be having this often! I did use chuck and groaned when I had to pick all the fat out. But it was worth it!!! This recipe made 10 hogie sandwiches for me and I used a 5 lb chuck roast. Might make more for others but I'm really picky about getting all the fat out of it so that's something to consider when you make it. Thank you so much for the recipe! We loved it!!!

Spinach Brownies

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2008
The name of this definitely does not give it justice!!! Is absolutely wonderful. Much like a quiche. Definitely use only 1/4 c. butter though, is plenty. I also saute'd the onions as we like them that way. Will definitely make this again and again over the next years. Thanks so much for the recipe!

Chocolate Cavity Maker Cake

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2008
I gave this a 4 star because I was just a bit disappointed in it. The presentation was great, beautiful cake - especially with the sifted powdered sugar on it, but it still tasted like a box mix to me and I was hoping it wouldn't with all the recipe added in it. Not bad though, the kids loved it. :) Thank you!

Pasta Fagioli Soup II

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2008
I was a little disappointed with this one. I followed several reviewers suggestions and added a bit of onion, celery and italian seasoning but it ended up tasting really tomato-y. Just not quite what I was expecting. Do appreciate the recipe though, thank you!

These are quite fabulous!!! My family loved them. I followed the recipe except using venison instead of beef and it was great. Will definitely be making these throughout the years. Thanks so much for the recipe!!!

This wasn't bad. I'm giving it a four star though because my 7 yr old ate it and he never eats ANYTHING. Thanks so much for the recipe!

Chicken Wing Dip

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2007
This was quite twangy, if that's a word. It's strong. I wish I had read the reviews first and maybe tried the blue cheese dressing in it instead of the ranch. Not bad though, thanks so much for the recipe!

Charleston Breakfast Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2007
This was okay. Was not the best breakfast casserole I've tried, nor the worst. I think it was the croutons that I didn't care for. I used seasoned. Maybe I should have used regular. Anyway, thanks so much for the recipe! I enjoyed trying it.

Thick Cut-Outs

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2007
These are simply The Best!!! I read through the other reviews before making these and decided to add about 1/4 cup extra sugar, doubled the vanilla and added 3/4 tsp of almond extract, as another reviewer suggested. They turned out wonderful!!! We will be baking these for years to come on many holidays. Be careful not to overbake. Nothing over 10 minutes and 9 seemed more appropriate most of the time. Enjoy! And thanks so much for the recipe!

Mini Pizzas

I did add a bit of pizza sauce, as other's suggested. I also tried some with mozzarella cheese on them, as suggested, but liked them much better without. Will definitely be a repeat. Thanks so much for the recipe!!!

Super-Easy Rocky Road Fudge

My husband absolutely loved this fudge. It's extremely easy to make, sets up beautifully and is not one of those "too sweet" recipes for fudge. Perfect! Thanks so much for the recipe!

Million Dollar Fudge

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2007
This turned out excellent! I used another reviewers idea of chopping up the german chocolate into smaller pieces so it would melt faster. I used parchment paper in my pans that I sprayed with PAM. Made it much easier to cut and store. Definitely a keeper. Thanks so much for the recipe!
