Chicken Noodle Casserole I

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2014
We love this recipe. I forgot the sour cream one day, but it tasted fantastic so I don't add it now. Sometimes I add peas or mushrooms to the mix. Good meal with items I keep on hand.

Broccoli with Garlic Butter and Cashews

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2014
This is a good, easy to prepare recipe. My husband loves spicier foods so I think I will try it with crushed red pepper next time. I thought it needed a touch more garlic also but still delicious.

Thai Curry Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2014
We loved this soup. It was full of flavor. I added 1/2 teaspoon of cayenne pepper because we like spicy, but it would have been delicious without I am sure. I didn't have fresh lemongrass so I used some dried. I put it in the broth and let it cook until we were ready to eat, then removed it. I will make it again but will sauté the mushrooms prior to putting with the other ingredients. Great recipe.

Curry Pumpkin Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2014
This is okay but I wouldn't say anything better. I added the onions and coconut milk as others recommended but thought it was extremely bland. I added add'l curry powder and cayenne to kick up the flavor.

Peanut Butter Cookies IX

Reviewed: Aug. 28, 2011
I take these to reunions and other pot luck functions. They are always a hit. I put the oatmeal thru the blender so they are not so coarse. It gives the cookies a better texture. I like them better than the "famous" chocolate chip cookie recipes. My grandkids like peanut butter and chocolate so this is a special treat for them.

Tony's Summer Pasta

Reviewed: Aug. 28, 2011
We love this dish. Super easy, full of flavor. I started making it a couple years ago but tweaked it to make it even easier. I usually combine the olive oil and basil in my blender. I also add a jalapeno as we like a little "heat". I serve it with crusty garlic bread and rarely have any left. Thanks for sharing it.

Balsamic Roasted Pork Loin

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2008
If you really love the flavor of balsamic, give this a try. My family likes the flavor and enjoy it in salad dressings as well as combined with olive oil for dipping sauces. I marinated the loin for 24 hours then baked as directed. We didn't savor the taste of this meat. I was edible but not one I would attempt again. Perhaps I marinated it too long but the balsamic was overpowering and it just didn't work for us.

Chocolate Zucchini Bread II

Reviewed: Jul. 23, 2007
We didn't really like the cinnamon in this recipe abd it was somewhat dry. I altered the recipe by decreasing flour by 1/4 cup and used bitter sweet chocolate chips, which we liked much better. Great use of a vegie!

Rice A Roni™ Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 1, 2007
My friend made this recipe for our potluck bbq. Only 1 person out of 15 sort of liked it. Don't know what the problem was but everyone else simply threw their's away after tasting it. I would not recommend to anyone.
