This is such an easy & quick cake to make!! My boyfriend jumped in the shower, and by the time he came out, it was already in the oven ready to surprise him. I did follow other reviews and used one cup of sugar,just two eggs, and a teaspoon of vanilla extract, but did something different myself. Instead of one cup of regular sour cream, I used a light sour cream and the result was a light, but yummy pound cake. There isn't much of a rise to the cake, but it still remains moist and soft on the inside. I baked it at 350degrees for about 55 minutes, periodically checking on it after 45 minutes to desired browning. Very good! Great alone, or with fresh fruit.
