Amazing! I have never cooked lamb that I liked. Put this on the grill, and it was awesome. The onions were crazy good as well!

Good for You Greek Salad

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2013
My husband said it was the best salad he has ever had. I thought it was a bit lemony, and I love lemon. I will just take away a tbsn next time. I did add some garlic and a tiny bit of stevia. Home grown tomatoes and just plain black olives. Thank you for the recipe.

Mini Meatloaves

Reviewed: Mar. 7, 2012
This is the one thing I have never been able to make. I also, HATE meatloaf. Not anymore! I added powdered and minced garlic, worcestershire sauce, homemade bread crumbs, and accidentally mixed all of the ingredients together. Had some homemade BBQ sauce, so topped it with that. Amazing!!!! Thank you for this recipe : )

Jalapeno Popper Spread

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2010
Very big hit at our house! Much better then going to the trouble of making actual poppers! Used a little more jalapenos, baked it and when it was done, we stirred it...Fantastic. Thank you...

Pecan Pie V

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2009
Well, dinner was over, and later when I went to get a piece of pie, it was all gone. Apparently, it was a hit. Most of the pumpkin was left, and the pecan was all gone. Guess I will have to make another to see what it tastes like. By the way, I used splenda instead of white sugar. No one knew the difference.

Great recipe, thank you! Did alter it...Used olive oil, tons of minced garlic, more soy sauce, more eggs, brown rice and a lot of hot and spicy asian sauce to the mix! Outstanding!

Easy Slow Cooker French Dip

Reviewed: Sep. 3, 2009
Spectacular! The type of beer you use, really does make a difference...I didn't have the french onion soup, so I just used a packet of dry onion soup mix and added water. Also, I added some garlic and parmesan to the rolls before baking. Update-Used dry onion soup mix again, added water without measuring. Spooned in some beef bouillon base, added more water, then a half of a large bottle of guinness stout beer, garlic powder, onion powder and worcestershire sauce. Melted cheddar and dubliner cheese with garlic on top in the oven...wow!

Chicken Tortilla Soup I

Reviewed: Jul. 12, 2009
Excellent recipe! The whole family said it was the best soup they had ever had! I wish I wouldn't have added the oregano, because I spent some time trying to get rid of that flavor. Last time I didn't use any. I ended up adding 3 cans chicken broth, 2 cans hominy 1 can mild rotel and one can hot with green chiles. I also love black beans so I used 3 cans of those. Added quite a bit of chipotle spice along with chile powder and cumin. I used my own made up mexican spice and grilled the chicken before putting it in the soup. Great recipe all around!

Oatmeal Pancakes II

Reviewed: Jul. 12, 2009
Great recipe. First time for me ever making home made pancakes. Don't usually eat them because they aren't very healthy. Took some suggestions from others and used whole wheat flour in place of the white. Also used splenda in place of sugar and three egg whites instead of the eggs. As for the milk, I used Almond milk because it's low in calories and better for you. I used half the salt and baking soda and they came out great!

Merenges

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2009
OMG!!! Okay, it totally helps if you follow the recipe...I read the salt content wrong...so I accidentally added a 1/4 tspn. Yuck. So, since I was using splenda, I made up for it and added a little bit more. Still a little salty, but still sooooo good. Added 2 tspn. of lemon zest. As for beating the egg whites, I am not sure if there is a set time...I just kept it going until it got a bit stiff like the recipe said. Cooked it at the same temp and turned the oven off and left them in like others suggested. Great recipe!

Black Bean Turkey Chili

Reviewed: Mar. 19, 2008
This recipe is awesome!!! I skipped the coriander, oregano and marjoram. Not for any reason, just because I felt like it. I like certain spice a lot so I tend to over use them. I don't measure, and I like my chili really spicy. I also had to cover up the whiteness of the turkey to trick my 14 year old daughter with the spices and it worked. She loved it! She still doesn't know it was turkey. I added a ton of chili spice, cumin, cayenne pepper, and chipotle. Sooooooo good!
