Frosted Pecan Butter Cookies

Wonderful cookie! Such a timer saver-the pecans roast on the cookie sheet as they bake-no need to toast them beforehand. Delicious taste-I used milk in the frosting instead of lemon juice even though I'm a lemon lover-I will try with lemon next time. Also may try dipping top in granulated sugar after dipping bottom in pecans and eliminating the frosting. However you try these, try them, they are wonderful!

Maggie's Camper Specials

I followed the recipe almost exactly except I toasted the coconut. I chilled the dough as other reviewers complained of a thin cookie. They baked up fat and chewy--delicious texture. The taste of the cookie did not come near the presentation. Not a very tasty cookie at all-no one ate them.

Crispy Almond Cookies

I followed the recipe exactly and was very disappointed based on the other reviews. I hate the taste of baking soda and that's all I tasted. Possibly more almond extract would improve the taste, but I won't try these again.

Beans and Greens

I made this because I try to eat healthy, but it turned out very tasty as well. I first sauteed chopped onion and garlic in the olive oil, added the broth and spinach, and finally the canned beans (all rinsed and drained as I don't like the feel of the bean liquid). Added a good bit of crushed red pepper and a handful of broken angel hair pasta. Very good and healthy.

Baked Oatmeal Squares

Wonderful! I used regular oats and otherwise followed the recipe exactly. We just spooned it out of the pan because it didn't really cut into squares easily. I eat it plain but husband eats it with milk. He loves it and looks forward to the leftovers! This is the only way I can eat cooked oatmeal-it's great!
