Sausage Jalapeno Poppers

Reviewed: Jul. 2, 2007
This recipe is GOOD. My Dad handed on one like this to me a time ago. To make this perfect change a couple things. Same idea just a little differant. First use pineapple cream cheese or even strawberry. Use maple sausage and maple bacon. DON'T cut peppers in half, just cut tops off and gut with small knife. Rinse with out with water and stuff with mix. Use a full slice of bacon per pepper. Start at middle of pepper then over open end and back to middle on same side then wrap around and secure with toothpick. Will be tricky. Cook on grill or smoker. You have to babysit them on grill but they are worth the effort. As for how spicy a pepper is good luck, you never know what you will get, I have found though when the pepper has black in the skin it is warmer or HOT. I can't imagine this cooked in an oven but I guess it could work. I haven't met anyone who didn't love this. This is requested alot.

Country Breakfast Casserole

Reviewed: Sep. 6, 2008
I tried this for supper because we all love breakfast anytime of day in my house. I was tempted to do what others said and use potatoes on top but thought I would follow the recipe exact. I don't know what I did wrong because it was the first one I couldn't eat. My family liked it and went back for seconds but somehow it was too greasy for me. My husband ate his and mine too. I might make again for them and leave off the butter or use taters. 4 stars because out of husband and 4 kids none complained.

I thought this was too much butter, my potatoes were swimming but over all it was good and very easy to make. I did add cinnamon. I will make again without so much butter. Thanks for sharing.

Spruced Up Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2010
This is the best recipe for anyone who won't eat thier vegetables. My husband won't touch cauliflower at all. It was just us two so I used 2 large potatoes and half a bag of frozen cauliflower with no carrots. My husband gobbled this up and got seconds. I still haven't told him! I couldn't detect the cauliflower at all but I used an electric mixer and beat it until smooth. Thank you so so so much for this. I will be making this one regularly!

Egg Drop Soup I

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2010
My daughter said to give this 5 stars, even though she thinks it should be 10! She wanted egg drop soup and this had what I had on hand almost. No cornstarch so I used flour. I did 3 cubes and 3 cups of water. I never made it before and I was happy how EASY this is to make. No left overs, she ate the whole pan! So this is a keeper. Takes only a few minutes and doesn't mess up the kitchen. Thanks for sharing this.

These were very good. This is a keeper. I made changes per reviews and didn't want to waste anything. I did use a whole can of pumpkin and used pumpkin pie spice. On the filling I used 8 oz of cream cheese 6 tbsp butter and almost 2 c powder sugar.

Sopapilla Cheesecake

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2010
very good! I would add just a little more butter though because it does crisp up a bit on top. Just want to add that this is not a dessert to try to make diet friendly, just enjoy every calorie! I use real butter also. I am making this for a co-workers birthday as requested again!
