Wonderful, quick and easy! I omitted the olive oil and shallots, used 3 cloves of garlic, whole eggs instead of just yolks and half and half instead of cream. I added the cooked pasta to the pan I was cooking the bacon and onion mixture in, and stirred it around for a minute to make sure it was nice and hot. Then I poured the half and half mixture (I used extra) over the hot noodles and stirred around until it was hot and thickened. I just didn't like the idea of eatting the raw egg. Tastes great, and is even good at room temperature. Thanks for such a great recipe with simple ingredients, that I almost always have on hand!
