Peanut Butter Noodles

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2008
Yummy!!! A new favorite--I've made it twice in three days. A great, easy recipe that is ready faster than the noodles! I like to add extra peanut butter and I use chili powder instead of paste because that's what I have. Highly recommended!

Mexican Pasta

Reviewed: Jun. 9, 2008
I have been looking for a tasty vegan pasta salad and decided to try this (as a salad, not a cooked entree). It was great! Definitely better when chilled overnight. I made the recipe as written, except I added extra corn, peppers, and fresh tomatoes, put lime juice on top, and did not cook any of the veggies. Very tasty the next day!

Egyptian Koshari

Reviewed: May 19, 2008
I followed another reviewer's advise and added 1/2 cilantro and 1 tsp cumin and blended the sauce in a food processor. Yum! If I hadn't added the extra seasoning, this recipe would only be 3 stars. My friend who had lived in Egypt said it was very similar to what she'd eaten there. Also, put lime or lemon juice on top. Yum!!!

I am now a superstar among my friends for discovering this dish, which we now make for almost every dinner party. Unbelievably easy and so so delicious.

Deviled Eggs

Reviewed: Mar. 22, 2008
Very tasty! A bit of a zip! I didn't have regular mayo, so I used part Miracle Whip and part no-fat mayo--it was still great. This will be my deviled egg recipe from now on!

Chuck's Favorite Mac and Cheese

More like a cheesy pasta casserole. Good. Add about a cup of milk and greatly reduce the breadcrumbs.

Quick Quiche

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2007
Very, very good! I prefer it without bacon though. And I always use green onions, which I sautee in the butter before adding. A super terrific quick tasty dinner!

One of the best pies I've ever had! I used limes instead of lemons because I love them. This pie rocked my world.

I used half white and half brown sugar and it was tasty. I'll make it again.

Refried Beans Without the Refry

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2007
These beans are unbelievably good! I would give them 10 stars if I could. They are soo easy and the amazing thing is that there's nothing unhealthy in them! (if you don't count the salt =).) I like to add a boulion cube or two.

Mexican Rice II

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2007
very good for how easy it is. I lived in Mexico for 18 months and have been looking for a rice recipe that is comparable in taste, but not in effort and so far this is the best one I've found.
