About this Cook
I am 35 years old with 2 children ages 8 and 12. I work part-time occassionally but enjoy being at home as much as possible with my kids. I also have a great fionce' who loves to cook and try new recipes also. we both like variety in our lives.
My favorite things to cook
I love pasta, fish, and seafood. my daughter will eat anything with cheese in it. my son likes pizza and my manaccotti. and my fionce is learning to like fish and veggies. i need some good veggie recipies to try on him. OH! and i love to bake anything.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I guess i'd have to say my Manoccotti is the most raved about in my home, my kids love it.
My cooking triumphs
I can cook almost anything if given a proper recipe and sometimes if i don't have all the ingredients i learn to tinker with it till my liking.
My cooking tragedies
I cannot make pumpkin pie for some reason? it never comes out right.

Special Pork Tenderloin
Awesome recipe! my kids even liked it! I will use this often. one of the best tenderloin recipes i have found. the only thing i did differently is i sliced the tenderloin first instead of cutting into chunks.

BREAKSTONE'S Sour Cream Scalloped Potatoes
Excellent taste..my family loved this. my only recommendation would be not to mash the potatoes and boil them for about 8 min. instead of 10.

Chicken Ranch Pizza with Bacon
I actually used this as a base recipe, with very few additions or tweaks. My family loved it! thanks for a wonderful Pizza! We definitely needed a change from the homemade boring peperoni pizza's! I sprinkled Garlic powder on the dough...(next layer). I added 2 tbsp water to the soup and stirred until creamy..once on I added 1/2 cup Parmesan..(next layer). I used some raw chicken tenders I had and sauteed them with some onion and mushroom and sprinkled that mixture on top. I then added bacon bits and shredded cheese. let it cook for the called for time, removed it drizzled it with ranch dressing(add 2 tsp milk to thin it out a bit)..put back in the oven for 7 min. Then serve.
