RWOP Finalist: Delicious!

Reviewed: Jun. 27, 2011
I've looked at this recipe on and off, deciding if it would be good or just weird. All I can say is WOW. It was awesome. I made it exactly as the recipe was written, with the exception of using Apricot preserves in place of peach because I had it in the house. The mix of flavors was just incredible, and the pork stayed really moist. (My biggest complaint about pork tenderloin is it always dries out.) Even my 13-year-old-I-hate-everything son loved it and had two helpings. This would be spectacular at a special dinner, as it is really an attractive dish. This is definitely a keeper!

Asian-Glazed 'Melt-in-Your-Mouth' Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: Sep. 30, 2007
Incredible! The meat had so much flavor, and was so tender, it was amazing. Served this with the carrot rice and sesame green beans (also from this site). You could easily cut the glaze in half as there was a lot left over.

Wings In Cola

Reviewed: Sep. 30, 2007
These were a little too sweet for me personally, but my kids loved them. It is worth the time to cook them in the oven and turn regularly. It makes them very tender and just a little crispy on the outside. Overall, very good!

Everyone in the family loved these - even my daughter who generally does not like any kind of potatoes.

Sesame Green Beans

The taste of this dish was very good, however next time I will cook them for a much shorter time. After 10 minutes they were very soft.

Tarragon-Dill Grilled Chicken Salad

Reviewed: Sep. 15, 2007
This was an incredible chicken salad. It had a lot of flavor, and was excellent served on a croissant. I added a few walnuts for extra crunch. I took the leftovers for lunch the next day, and it was still crunchy and wonderful tasting. Thanks for a new favorite recipe!

Chocolate Coffee Cake

Reviewed: Sep. 9, 2007
The spicy, slightly chocolatey taste of this coffee cake was out of this world. I was a little apprehensive that it would take more like chocolate cake than coffee cake, but not at all. It was super moist, and just enough spice to make it interesting. My kids all love this, even son #1 who is the pickiest eater on the planet. My only suggestion would be to make the topping separately and use brown sugar instead of white. But it was fantastic as posted!
