Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough + Cupcake = The BEST Cupcake. Ever.

Reviewed: Sep. 1, 2012
These are hands down, some of the best cupcakes you will ever have. That being said I have made my own version. As others have mentioned using a chocolate cake is best and a chocolate homemade frosting.

Chocolate Ganache S'mores

Reviewed: Sep. 1, 2012
I made this today and it was a big hit! I did a few things differently. I wanted mine to be a pie so I used a graham cracker pie crust. This cut out a step too, so that much easier! I also used mini marshmallows and put in the fridge to set. After that we stored it at room temp.

Best Football Dip Ever

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2010
I made this for a boys poker party and it was ok. I made it exactly as written and it was just bland. I think that it would be perfect with taco seasoning added to the beef prior to adding the cheeses. The boys seemed to like it ok but there was more left then with other dips I have made for them!

Double Tomato Bruschetta

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2010
This was ok, I made it exactly as written and for Bruschetta it was way too sweet. I think that if I tried it again I would cut the balsamic down a bit. Most of the family didn't care for them.

Eclair Cake

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2010
I made this for a superbowl party and it was a hit! I made it the day before and let it sit in the fridge overnight. I did use French Vanilla pudding and dark chocolate frosting but really didn't change a thing! My husband was hoping there would be leftovers so he could eat some more at home! I will make this again for sure!

Grilled Salmon I

Reviewed: Sep. 27, 2009
I made this exactly as the recipe called for and it was fantastic! I did bake it at 400 degrees and then broiled for 5 minutes. I will definitely make this again!

Peach Pie the Old Fashioned Two Crust Way

Reviewed: Sep. 22, 2009
I made this with some fresh peaches and it was fantastic. I did drain the peaches for a while in a colander to drain off the juice. I also omitted the nutmeg and replaced it with ginger. The pie was perfect! The bottom crust was nice and firm and the top was perfect. I will say that having made many pies over the years I have found that the liquid content isn't the only culprit of soggy crust. Many time your oven is the biggest problem in baking. Uneven cooking, wrong temps etc.. It is always best to have a thermometer inside the oven to make sure it is heating as it should.

Beef Tenderloin With Roasted Shallots

Reviewed: Sep. 22, 2009
I have made this two time both with rave reviews from family and friends! It is labor intensive but very much worth it! The first time I made it for a get together and used the filet cut. It was wonderful. The second time I had purchased a tri-tip roast and decided to try it with that cut of meat. It was just as good! I did puree the shallots and bacon with a bit of the broth prior to mixing it with the flour paste. My children even ate the sauce and loved it! I will make this again!

BBQ Pork for Sandwiches

Reviewed: Sep. 18, 2009
I have made this a few times and it is fabulous! The first time I made the recipe as it is and it was really good- the second time I didn't have any broth so I used half a can of beer. It was better than the first time! I do use Sweet Baby Rays for the sauce- the best!

Firecracker Grilled Alaska Salmon

Reviewed: Aug. 9, 2009
Everyone loved this and the kids all asked for seconds! Delicious! I did leave out the red pepper as I thought it would be to spicy and it tasted fine. I will use this again!

Plum Blueberry Upside Down Cake

Reviewed: Aug. 9, 2009
This was very good! My pan was not big enough so it did overflow but it was still delicious! I did leave out the blueberries and just used plums and it cooked up just fine. It looked so beautiful and tasted wonderful. I took the advice of others though and did double the butter and brown sugar. Next time I will use a springform pan though.

Good Old Fashioned Pancakes

Reviewed: Jul. 29, 2009
I love this recipe- so good! I do add 1/2 tsp of vanilla or almond extract for that extra flavor. We have added chocolate chips with no problem at all. This recipe is very easy to add too, without destroying the flavor. I will say I don't grease my griddle but just heat it very hot. To me the oil soaks up to much into the pancakes and makes them heavy.

Chantal's New York Cheesecake

Reviewed: Aug. 4, 2007
I made this for a family dinner and it was a big hit! It was perfect! I did forget to put in the flour and didn't realize it till later but it was still great- so I am unsure of the benefit of the flour. I put a pan of water on the rack under the cheesecake while cooking so the steam would keep it moist and I had no problems at all. I finished it with canned strawberry pie filling and it was so great! I will make this again!

Broiled Tilapia Parmesan

Reviewed: Jun. 29, 2007
My whold family loved this recipe. I was worried that the fish would be dry from dry broiling it prior to adding the sauce but it was so moist! The herbs were lovely and this was just so easy. I will make this again!

Banana Oatmeal Cookie

Reviewed: Jun. 29, 2007
I didn't like this cookie at all. It was dry and didn't flatten out at all. One of my children like them but they turned as hard as rocks by the next day. I will not make this recipe again.

This caramel corn is the best! It is somewhat time consuming but the final result is so worth it! Everytime I make it there is always someone looking for more.

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Jun. 24, 2007
These muffins turned out to have an "off" taste. Thankfully I put the topping on or they would have been really bad. I will not make these again.
