Quick and Easy Alfredo Sauce

Reviewed: Jul. 21, 2008
Use fresh garlic cloves for best results. Low fat cream cheese works just as well.

Spinach Stuffed Chicken Breast

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2008
This was wonderful! I follwed the advice of others and partially cooked the bacon first and sprinkled the chicken with paprika. I wanted to use up some plain yoghurt so substituted that in for sour cream and it was still delicious. I didn't bother with marinating and the chicken still came out nice and tender. Like others have said, I had a little extra of the spinach stuffing left over. I fried up an onion and a couple of cloves of garlic and threw the extra filling in the pan with those and a can of sliced mushrooms and a touch of sour cream. I used this as a sauce for pasta to eat along side the chicken and steamed some asparagus....DEEEEEEELISH!

Fruit Bread II

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2008
I thoroughly enjoyed this loaf, and it was so simple to throw together. I added 1/4 cup of chopped pecans for a little something extra(hence 4 stars instead of 5) but other than that didn't change anything. It was delicious and stayed moist for 5 days in a re-sealable bag. It may have stayed moist longer, but I ate it all! Thankyou for sharing with us!

Mom's Island Treasures

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2008
I don't like peanut butter, and I wanted to make a cookie for my boyfriend that I wouldn't be tempted to eat. I chose this one as it seemed like a really nice combination, and then added 1/4 cup of melted peanut butter. 'Perfection' was his exclamation! I'll definitely be requested to make these again.

Chicken Pot Pie IX

Reviewed: Jun. 25, 2007
Like others, I added chicken stock powder to the vegetable/chicken water. I retained this water and used it all, instead of the small amount of broth. I also substituted evaporated canned milk instead of plain milk and doubled its quantity. When cooking the onions I also added 2 small leeks, this gave the pie a terrific flavour. As was suggested previously, I used garlic powder instad of celery seed. This pie came out absolutely amazingly first time, creamy, tasty and definitely not dry. I also reduced the temp and increased the cook time, 375 degrees, and 45 mins
