Easy Cheese Ball II

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2010
This was delicious! I cut the recipe in half and I still had leftovers. I added 2 tbsp of bacon bits and used the kraft already shredded Monterey jack, mozzarella, and cheddar mix. Next time I will add some green onions and some pepper flakes for some spice

Salsa Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 11, 2008
So simiple but so delicious. I was skeptical at first but it turned out delicious. Besides cutting the recipe in half, I changed nothing. Next time I might add some green onions or a bit more spices but it is definitly not needed.

Sweet and Sour Pork Patties

Reviewed: Jul. 21, 2009
These were delicious. I made homemade sweet and sour sauce from the all recipes website called sweet and sour sauce II. I made the meat as meatballs instead of patties. I also baked them for a less fatty version. I added some green peppers and onions to the sauce and meat balls and served it over rice.

Gyros Burgers

Reviewed: Aug. 31, 2010
These were awesome!! They actually tasted like Gyros. I completely forgot to put the grated onion in and did not have savory so I substituted Thyme but it was still delicious. I served them in pita pockets with lettuce, tomato, feta and tzatziki. I will definitly be making these again!

Golden Potato Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2009
This was so simple and delicious. The only change I made was that I added a cup of corn to the soup. I always have these items on hand (except for the ham but it's good without it anyway.)This recipe was quick and simple just what you need for a busy house hold!

My Kid's Favorite Pork Chops

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2011
These were delicious. I used a whole can of beer because I did not want to waste any. I only used one onion, 1/2 cup of bbq and simmered it for 30 minutes. I added a tbsp of cornstarch mixed with a tbps of water at the end just to thicken the sauce up a bit. My husband could not stop talking about how good it smelt and how tender the meat was.

Baked Squash and Maple Syrup

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2008
I love squash and always need new ways to serve it. This was delicous. I did make some changes. When I scooped it out of the shell I kept the shell intact so I could serve the squash in the shells and I did not puree it because I prefered chunks of onion and squash

Cherry Cheese Pie II

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2010
have made this several times and each time people say it is so delicious! It's cheescake in pie form. I use cherry preserves that I have on hand from the cherry season but I am sure the pie filling would be just as good.

Reviewed: May 3, 2009

Cheesy Potato and Corn Chowder

Reviewed: May 24, 2010
This was delicious and I wish I had doubled the recipe. I did make a few changes; I added a can of creamed corn and then used 1 cup frozen corn because I never buy corn canned. I used 3 cups chicken broth and 1 cup milk. Instead of the gravy mix I stirred 1 tbsp of corn starch into the milk before adding it to the pot. I also used real cheddar chesse. I used 1 tbsp of dried crushed chili peppers which made it very spicy, next time I will only use 1/2 a tbsp

Alaska Salmon Bake with Pecan Crunch Coating

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2009
I thought this salmon topping was delicious. I will use a better cut of salmon next time. I was only cooking for 2 so I halved the recipe. Next time I will try and coat both sides of the fish and see how it turns out on a grill.

I loved these. I served them with a chipotle maple aioli for dipping. I don't keep potato flakes in the house so I added 1 cup of frozen hashbrowns. I also add 1 tbsp of lemon jiuce and more dill. Delicious!

Pork Chops with Blue Cheese Gravy

Reviewed: Mar. 27, 2009
At first I thought of how to make this by putting it on the grill but There is just no way to save the juices to make the gravy. It was absolutly fantastic. My fiance loves blue cheese and he took his first bite and said Oh my god! I thougt someting was wrong but it was just him loving the dish so much. I don't usually have whip cream in my fridge so I used 1 cup milk mixed with 2 tsps of corn starch so that it would thicken.

Jamaican Beef Patties

Reviewed: May 6, 2009
These were great! I didn't have a big problem with the dough to filling ratio. I rolled the dough really thin so that I could fill it with a bit more. It made six pastries. I had enough mixture leftover for about 1 more pastrie but I just ate the left over because it was so delicious. I never have shortnening in the house and usually substitute butter but I put some bacon fat instead and it was made them so good. Ialso changed up a bit of the spices in the meat mixture. I used red curry and added a tsp if all spice instead of salt.

Vietnamese Salad Rolls

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2009
I love salad rools and decided it was time to try them at home. It wasn't as hard as I thought. I used this recipe as a base but I left out the basil and added julienned cucumer like the restaurants. I love hoisin as the dipping sauce but I do not usually add any water. Sometimes if I have some on hand I will dip in peanut sauce which is just as delicious.

Pizza Dip

This dip is delicious! I don't like olives so I left them out. Instead I used mushrooms and green peppers. You can really add anything that you like on a pizza.

Grilled Lamb with Brown Sugar Glaze

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2009
This was very simple, yet very good. It had subtle hints of sweetness. I was a little worried of the spice mix sticking to the meat and not the grill but it turned out fine. I only used 2 lambchops but still used the same amount of spices. I kept sprinkling little amounts on when I flipped the meat.

Baked French Fries I

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2008
These are wonderful. Much healthier then deep frying and you can play around with the seasonings. I used onion salt instead of powder, added some curry powder and a bit extra chili powder for some extra spice.

Wasabi Mayo Salmon

Reviewed: Aug. 13, 2008
This is awesome! I used 1 tbsp of wasabi paste instead of powder. I might have added more for a bit more spice but the rest of the people eating it would not have like it as much. I used plain kettle chips on top. This will definitly be made again in my house.
