Homemade Hash Browns

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2011
FANTASTIC!!! Parboiling makes the difference. Don't waste your time trying other methods, they do not work as well and they come out mushy or greasey.

Romaine Rice Tuna Salad

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2009
Love this stuff! Been making it for years since finding it. Follow the simple recipe as written and it's great. The only variable is the Balsamic vinegar, it is CRITICAL to buy and use a quality product here! Because it is such a powerful seasoning that rises to the top of the dish it is used in any recipe you use it in can be made or busted by the quality of the Balsamic.

Sesame Seared Tuna

Reviewed: May 20, 2009
Can only give 5 stars but should be 10!! Wife ridiculed me for buying a Tuna steak, once she tried it she was singing praise. Very good, I went simple and only used soy and sesame for more of a semi-cooked sushi outcome (plenty of wasabi too!!) Kind of a cross between a med-rare Filet Mignon and Sushi.

Lamb Chops with Balsamic Reduction

Reviewed: Apr. 5, 2009
Very Good!! I used shoulder lamb chops which are a "lesser" cut but a pack of two were only $3. I also added a little Garlic because I love the stuff. Will be making this one again!!

Bacon Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2009
Very good and easy to make too! I've made and had various Chick & Dump but the bacon makes this one special. I made as stated except for 2% Milk instead of H&H because I did not have any and I added some carrots, celery and parsely for color and flavor. Two thumbs up cuz that's all I got.

Minnesota Pork Chops

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2008
Great recipe. I converted it to "busy mom style" (even though I'm a busy dad) and pre-cooked the rice/water in the micro for 6 min and used think chops. Done within an hour. A little light on seasoning for my taste (even though I upped it), the water tends to dillute the flavor so I would suggest go heavy.

Onion Rice

Very Good! I used margarine instead of oil and also added slivers or red and green bell peppers. I used quick rice (5 minutes in microwave)and combined everything at the end. Quick, easy and quite good.

Salsa Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 11, 2007
Quite good! Had to drain water twice but I did use homemade salsa, bought salsa may have less moisture. Actual cooking time was more like 35-45 minutes for me and last half was @ 400F. My breasts were quite thick though (the chicken) so that may have contributed. Family loved it!
