I HAVE MADE A LOT OF FROSTING IN MY LIFE AND THIS ONE IS A KEEPER. I MADE IT JUST LIKE INSTRUCTED. IT WAS CREAMY AND HAD JUST ENOUGH CHOCOLATE FLAVOR. IT DOES NOT NEED TO BE TWEAKED AND IS A SIMPLE FROSTING TO MAKE. YUM YUM!!

Never Fail Applesauce Spice Cake

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2007
This applesauce spice cake is delicious. We have apple trees in our yard and I make applesauce every year. The only thing I changed was the sugar. I put 1 cup white and 3/4 cup brown sugar. I also made muffins out of the batter. This one is definitely going into my recipe file.

Sweet and Spicy Green Beans

Reviewed: Sep. 18, 2007
THESE BEANS WERE VERY GOOD BUT I DID CHANGE 1 THING. I PUT EQUAL PARTS OF SOY SAUCE AND HONEY. I FOUND THE SAUCE TO SALTY BUT WHEN I INCREASED THE HONEY IT WAS PERFECT. I WILL BE MAKING THESE AGAIN. ALSO THE SAUCE WOULD WORK WELL ON SALMON AND ASPARAGUS.

This is by far the best buttercream frosting I have ever made. The consistency was wonderful and it makes enough to do a three layer and 6 cupcakes. It was delicious!!!!

Red Raspberry Vinaigrette

Reviewed: Aug. 14, 2007
I've looked awhile for a good raspberry vinaigrette and this is delicious. It has so much flavor for only 3 ingredients. I use it on a spring mix salad with pecans, crumbled blue cheese, slices of apple and dried cranberries. It's heavenly and a keeper!!

Candy Coated Pecans

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2007
These turned out fantastic. The only thing that I did was add 1/2 tsp. cinnamon and I tossed the nuts 10 minutes into baking. The pecans were very light in texture and are great on their own or tossed into a salad. Yummy!

Becki's Oven Barbecue Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 9, 2007
This was very very good and EASY!! I did add a few things. 2-TBSP honey, 1-TBSP soy sauce and 3-TBSP dehydrated onion. This sauce was truly "finger lickin good". I also used chicken breasts that were skinned and boneless. I checked the chicken after 25 minutes and it was done. I think because it was boneless, it cooked faster. This going to be a keeper and I know it will be a hit with my friends and family...

Swiss Chicken Casserole I

Reviewed: Aug. 9, 2007
This was a very yummy casserole. I put a bit of the chicken soup down first in dish. I also mixed the butter with the stuffing mix before I put on top of casserole. My husband thought it was even better reheated the next day. This is definitely a keeper.
