Slow Cooker Pinto Bean Bonanza

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2011
Decent flavor. I was trying to make it a little more rounded, so I removed most of the bacon grease, and cooked an onion and the green pepper in with the bacon. Served with corn bread and a salad (would've been greens if the kids would eat them!)

Apple and Pork Stew

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2007
I'm not a big beef stew person, so I should've known better than to try this. If I were to try it again, I'd add the apples towards the end (they were mush of nothing...depends on what you want), and skip the herbs, using only salt and pepper....to enjoy the cooked down wine flavor more. If you enjoy beef stew, I would bet you would enjoy this.

West Tennessee Corn Bread

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2011
Excellent. I love that it doesn't have a stick of butter, and no white flour. I used low fat mayo, and it was still good.

Amazing. Simple, for a cheesecake. Fabulous flavor ~ and I'm a bit of a cheesecake snob!

Amazing Pork Tenderloin in the Slow Cooker

Reviewed: Apr. 8, 2011
Wow. My husband LOVES pork tenderloin, and requested I never ruin a tenderloin like this again. It was okay to me, but certainly didn't live up to all these reviews. I'll just stick to making it on the grill, even though it takes a lot more time!

Herb Roasted Pork

I wasn't a big pork loin fan....until now. This recipe is perfect, as is. I used my convection oven with a smaller roast, and it took 1 hr 15 min to bake. mmmmmmm

London Broil II

Delish! I added a bit of red wine vinegar as a tenderizer, and then also basted some portabellas and cut veggies to grill. Fantastic!

Love this recipe, even crave it!! The kind of sausage makes a big difference in flavor, you might have to try different ones. Great freezing leftovers too!

Oatmeal Waffles

Reviewed: May 9, 2009
Fantastic! I was looking for a whole grain waffle recipe I could enjoy with the family, without being heavy. These were great! I agree with other posters to beat the egg whites to stiff peaks, and add last.

Grain and Nut Whole Wheat Pancakes

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2009
These are the best! I followed other reviews...and halved the sugar, and added one more egg. They're incredible with chocolate chips too! I found I'll cook up the rest of the batter...and grab them in the morning for a quick breakfast...they're fantastic cold! (I've brought them on planes too!)

Scallops Provencale

Reviewed: May 20, 2008
Yum, yum, YUM!!! Forgot the ketchup, didn't have the wine, but did have some fresh basil, so threw that in. Absolutely fantastic! Had it with a nice salad...I would say this feeds more of 3 people (4 if you're stretching it or have a lot of good sides!).

Fajita Seasoning

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2013
I didn't have time to marinade this, so I coated the steak with oil, rubbed on garlic (and no garlic salt added), and then coated the seasoning on, then seared it in the pan. Delicious!

Slow Cooker Chicken Taco Soup

This is amazing, I love it! I think it might be one of my favorite soups now, and even my children like it. I did add a chopped red pepper, just to be sneaky about another veggie for them. Delicious!
