Garlic Cheddar Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2013
I really loved this the first time I made it, however, the 2nd time I made it I used the already chopped canned garlic, and I stilled liked it but I think I will stick with fresh garlic instead. Great recipe, going to make it for my daughter's first birthday party. Hopefully it will be a hit!

Chocolate Chip Cookies Lite

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2008
Well, the taste was there, I think I added to many chocolate chips, but its nice and chocolatly. The problem I had was it didn't fully "rise" and I used all the ingredients in here. I cooked it for 9 minutes, and it looked like it was done. I also had a major problem getting them off the cookie sheet, not sure why that is, when normally I have no problems, even ungreased. A little too much complication for this recipe. Although they tasted ok. So I gave it a 3 stars, just for taste.

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2007
I tried this it made a good cookie however, I left it out to see just how hard it would get and after 3 days the cookies were hard, mostly my fault. But I am sure if kept in a bin they would have stil been soft. Hard dough to work with I thought, but I still have other half of it in freezer and will thaw and make the other half soon, so I will see how that goes, I think the dough was too sticky and not in the fridge for long.

Michelle's Famous Washed Cranberry Sauce

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2007
I doubled the recipe for tomorrow's Thanksgiving. I really liked the taste howeever, it kinda left a bitter sweet after taste, but I think that is because I tried it warm, and even my husband says its good, but needs to be cold, I agree, tomorrow it will taste better. I did add 1/2 cup orange juice to this recipe and found that it was too liquid so I spooned some of the juice out about 1 cuo and it seemed to work. Next time I will cut the amount of water and just substitute for OJ. Nevertheless great recipe! We will see how it goes tomrrow!

World's Best Lasagna

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2007
Well, I never cooke Lasagna before, so this was new. I LOVED this recipe!!! Can't really screw it up, my family also loved it! I had my parents over for dinner and my husband and they all loved it! I sent some home to go to my brother and my father-in-law, and they liked it. I want to just add, I doubled the ricotta cheese mixture and thank god I did! I also used fresh basil and fresh mozzerlla as well as shredded mozzeralla. I then prepared it yesterday and put it in the fridge over night and cooked it for 55 mins. today. Tasted great, and is good if your having family over, cause you can cook a day before. Anyways, I also just put the noodles in hot water in a pot and let them soak about 30 mins while sauce is simmering. Great recipe.

Blueberry Drop Cookies

Reviewed: Sep. 10, 2007
Well, I will give it five for now, cause I can usually tell when the batter is good tasting so will the cookies be. So, I completed the batter and stuck it in the fridge over night here and I will take it out tomorrow morning and cook them. But so far, the batter is excellent, I assed just a touch of Lemon extract, that is the only thing I altered, should be great! Thanks for this recipe.

Country Fried Steak and Milk Gravy

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2007
Ok, so what I did with this was a little different. I hammered my steak to make it tender ( I had tip breakfest steak) then in the flour mix I put Italian Seasoning, pepper, salt, a little sugar ( just experimented) and I used olive oil instead of lard. I put about a tablespoon of Warchcure sauce in the egg batter, and dipped the steak a couple of times to make sure it was covered in the batter and flour mix. Then, for th gravey I just used a packet we had here "homestyle gravy mix" with about 1 and a half cup of milk and 1 cup water, the whole things turned out sooo good. My husband loved it! We had it wih biscut, has browns and corn. :) Thanks!

Blueberry Bars

Reviewed: Aug. 17, 2007
This was actually very good. I made this because I had blueberries in the fridge..fresh ones that I knew were going to go bad if I didn't do something! I also needed to take a dish to a party. So, I made these. I have yet to go to the party, it's tomorrow and I made these tonight. I mixed mine up too, with the topping, with oats, cinnomin, pecan halves, brown sugar and a little flour just put this on top of the cream cheese topping and viloa! It baked a while, but I had my husband try it and he liked it. I made sure he wasn't just "lying" ..lol. I would make this again, although a little on the fatening side, but my family owns a resturaunt and most are over weight anyways, including me just a bit, so I am sure they will love these tomorrow. Thanks!

Fried Chicken Tenders

Reviewed: Jun. 21, 2007
Yup, just made them they look great now for the tasting... should be very good, I also used a dash of water and a dash of Italian Dressing in the egg batter for the chicken tenders, only thing was, I only had 8 tenders, so next time I would use 1/2 of what it calls for, but never the less great recipe, and I hadn't a clue before how to make these, so this is my 1st time. Thanks!
