Delicious Pumpkin Bread

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2010
Made this with 16 oz of semi sweet chocolate chips added in. Even the batter was good. It took an hour and 15 minutes to bake in a loaf pan and a square cake pan.

Adobo Chicken with Ginger

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2010
This was delicious. I added 2 cups of shredded carrots and used apple cider vinegar instead of regular. I used chicken breasts cut into strips and crock potted it for about 3 hours. Served it over basmati rice and it was just delicious.

Honey Mustard Chicken with Pretzel Crust

Reviewed: Oct. 19, 2010
I thought this was pretty darn good. I just patted my chicken dry and dipped it in egg, then in crushed pretzels because I was lazy and didn't have all that mustard and baked for half an hour. It was yummy!

Honey Mustard Salad Dressing

This was great. I cut the oil in half, though.

Gooey Butter Cake II

Reviewed: Jul. 6, 2010
HUGE hit at a BBQ this weekend. I omitted the almond but it still turned out stellar. Next time I'll try it with Butter cake mix. I'd like to do a pumpkin version in the fall.

Ranch Dressing II

Reviewed: Jun. 27, 2010
This was great! I cannot believe how inexpensive homemade ranch is. I had fresh parsley on hand, but no dried, so i chucked that in instead and my dressing was BRIGHT GREEN. Oops. Delicious, though, and my husband really liked it.

Poppy Seed Bundt Cake II

Reviewed: Jun. 15, 2010
This is my mom's "top secret" recipe and it's simply fabulous. We like it drizzled with a glaze of milk+powdered sugar and it's especially festive with colored sprinkles. I love this cake and used to hope it'd break in the bundt pan so we could have one around the house

No Bake Sugar Free Cheese Cake

Reviewed: May 26, 2010
I thought it was fantastic, but my husband thought it was too lemony (even though he ate it all). I'll be making it again, perhaps with strawberry or orange.

Baked Potato Soup

Reviewed: May 26, 2010
Absolutely delicious. I added some white wine, rosemary, sage, and velveeta! I also used skin-on red potatoes. This is such a gourmet tasting soup and I wasn't expecting that!

Spanish Rice II

Reviewed: May 21, 2010
Super easy and delicious. Went great with our chile pork verde I keep making this! It's GREAT! I now like to add chicken seasoning, cumin, shallots, lime juice, parsley, and saffron while it's cooking! Really bumps it up.

Snickerdoodle Cake I

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2010
This was great! Made it for a special lunch dessert, put lots of cinnamon sugar on the top, some cinnamon in the batter, and it was just delicious. Soft and yummy! I halved the batter, baked it in a brownie tin, and it made plenty!

Nanaimo Bars III

Reviewed: Sep. 28, 2009
These were amazing. I mixed the first layer ingredients as instructed, except omitted the egg and baked at 350 for 10 minutes. I added the 2nd layer, then refrigerated, then the top layer when the middle was hard and cold. No double boiler! They went over really well and everyone loved them.

These were fantastic. I made them the recipe's way the first time, and the second time subbed out 1/4 cup flour for 1/4 cup finely ground pecans. Divine.

Decorator Frosting

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2009
This frosting is absolutely incredible. Everyone is asking me for the recipe! It's soft on the inside but hard enough to stack on the outside. And sweet, but not toooo sweet. I made it with pecan shortbreads.

Raspberry Poke Cake

I LOVE this recipe! I like it with lemon cake mix and orange jello. It's great for summer! I've also done lemon raspberry and it's so fabulous. This cake is moist and fresh. Delish.

Dill Dip III

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2009
Add a can of corned beef and serve with bread toasts or crackers! The dill and corned beef blend is PERFECT for St Pats and really good. Or for those meat-eaters in your life. Use a hand mixer to blend in the beef so it's not chunky--canned corn beef ain't pretty.

Chai Tea Mix

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2008
Definitely a hit with everyone! Very authentic and not "powdered-milky" tasting like others I've had. I bagged it up in little cups and packaged it up with homemade cinnamon rolls as a Christmas Breakfast present for my friends!

Homemade Black Bean Veggie Burgers

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2008
It was okay, but felt like it was missing flavor and texture. Maybe the beans just weren't my thing, but the patties tasted dry and mashed and kind of strange.

Eclair Cake

Reviewed: Aug. 31, 2008
I had this at a dinner, and it was gooey and and I did not care for the taste--I was excited to have "eclair" cake but it didn't really taste like a real eclair. Pudding and canned frosting just don't do it for me I guess.
