Extreme Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: Sep. 25, 2010
This is the same recipe as on the back of the Hershey's coco. It is my favorite recipe however, when I started it I thought I was making a new recipe. I realized it at the last moment before adding the boiling water and instead decided to add boiling coffee. Should be interesting!

Delicious cake. Only change I did was use Star Buck house blend coffee in place of the boiling water. I frosted cake with Carolines Fudge frosting from this website.

Sandy's Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2009
Very good cake. Looks and tasted like the cake came from a high end pastry shop. Cake and frosting our not overly sweet so some children may say it tastes weird. Adults appreciate the unique taste more than children.

Whipping Cream Pound Cake

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2009
Very good pound cake. I only made the following few changes based on other reviews. Added 2 tablespoons vanilla, 1 teaspoon almond extract and had to bake it for 1 hour and 23 minutes. After an hour cover the cake with foil so top does not burn. Added glaze which is consisted of powered sugar, vanilla and milk.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Fudge

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2008
Very good. This was my first time making fudge. I used an 8 x 8 pan. The only change I made was I added 1 tsp. of vanilla. I used a candy thermometer. It took 10 minutes for fudge to reach 250 degrees. Make sure you work quickly when poring fudge into pan.

It's Chili by George!!

Reviewed: Nov. 2, 2008
Very good recipe. This was my first time making chili. When I was serving the chili it seemed to have too much liquid, however after sitting in the refrigerator overnight it was perfect. After reading other reviews I added the following: Used 2 1/2 pounds of lean ground beef (instead of 2 pounds), 2 cloves garlic, 2 Tbs of Hershey coco powder, added 1/2 tsp. of brown sugar instead of white.

Country Pound Cake

Reviewed: Jul. 27, 2008
Awesome! My first time baking a pound cake. After reading other reviews I made the following changes: in place of lemon flavoring I added 1/2 tsp. of almond extract. I baked cake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes then dropped oven temperature down to 300 degrees and continued baking for about 37 minutes. Top crust was brown , but not too brown like other bakers mentioned and cake was cooked through. Cake was moist and delicious. Now I need and searching for the perfect glaze. Not that it needs it. Tastes great with strawberries and cream.

Hard Candy

Reviewed: Jun. 13, 2008
Great recipe! This was my first time making candy. I bought a $2.00 candy thermometer from Walmart. Just do not spray Pam in the bottom of the sauce pot if you have one of those expensive ceramic ones. It will burn!1

Em and Nic's Apple Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2008
My first review. This is my favorite web site for finding recipes.I have found a lot of delicious recipes on this website, however this is not one of them.Sorry!Too strong a flavor for chicken. After I cooked it and did not like the chicken I put the raisin, apple topping on oatmeal, which was very good.
