Wake-Up Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2011
Made this for Christmas breakfast and it was a hit!!! Will definitely make again! I took the advice of others and baked the hash browns for 20 minutes before adding the rest of the ingredients.

World's Best Lasagna

Reviewed: Jul. 12, 2009
It was good, but honestly....for the time it took, I was expecting it to be better than the recipe on the back of the Lasagna noodles box. And, I actually like the box's better.

This was really delicious and the water chestnuts gave it the perfect crunch. Excellent with the Hawaiian bread!

Jalapeno Popper Spread

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2008
I brought this to Christmas dinner for the appetizer and it was a HUGE hit! Even those who weren't big fans of jalapeno poppers loved it! I cooked it for 20 minutes at 400 degrees F. The thing that REALLY made it tasty for us was using raspberry preserves on top after it was baked. Yummy! Yummy! Yummy! I am going to try 1/2 mayo and 1/2 sour cream the next time as someone else suggested.

Chicken Tikka Masala

Reviewed: Jun. 22, 2007
I have made this recipe several times and it's always a hit! I do suggest using no salt. The amount that they want you to use HAS to be a typo....it was awful the one time that I used the salt recommended. Anyhoo. :) The japs are essential to this tasting very authentic. I do not use the yogurt for the chicken. Just simply cut the chicken into very small pieces and cook it in a pan. It's just as good in my opinion. Let's see...I also use a bit of Garam Masala and Cardamom. These spices also make it TRULY authentic tasting. I love this recipe better than any Tikka Masala I have ever tried.
