Round Steak and Gravy II

Wow, this was wonderful. I didn't have any french onion soup so I sliced up one medium onion and carmelized it, added some salt and then added 1.5 cups of water instead. I only cooked it for 2 hours because I ran out of time but it was so tender and flavorful. I will make this again.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Brownies

I'm not sure what went wrong but I had to bake the brownie part a really, really long time to get it to set up in the center. The edges got really done and it made for a funky shaped dessert. It tasted pretty good, but I think I like a little more chocolate with my peanut butter. I'll probably make a custom version of this, it definitly has potential.

Hazelnut Chocolate Chip Scones

These were very good. I didn't have hazelnuts so I used pecans. I had to bake them a little longer than stated but nonetheless, they were wonderful. Thank you for the recipe.

Buttermilk Oatmeal Muffins

I used this as a base recipe for pumpkin muffins. I used about a half of a cup or so of pumpkin puree and added a tsp of pumpkin pie spice. Not to pumpkiny or sweet. Will make these again.

Basic Flaky Pie Crust

I have never had luck with pie crust. This recipe changed that! I followed someone's instructions on doubling the recipe and it worked well. I used regular shortening and I might try butter next time.

Rhubarb Blueberry Muffins

Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Muffins

These were YUM-O!! I used old fashioned oats and soaked them in the milk overnight. This made quite a bit more than 12 regular muffins. I didn't follow the instructions and added all the brown sugar in the muffins and also added some vanilla. These were nice and moist and suprisingly not too sweet. I didn't have any pecans so we went nutless, but I'll definitely make these again. Thanks for the recipe!!

Dee's Roast Pork for Tacos

This is so good and so easy. I cooked this in the slow cooker and added a little water and it just shedded nicely. I used flour tortillas and topped with a little cheese, and an onion cilantro mix. Sour cream is also good on this. I have made this twice now and it rocks! Thank you Dee!

Ninety Minute Cinnamon Rolls

These are soooo good! I consider myself "yeast bread" challenged and these turned out fantastic! I feel there's hope for me yet. This might already be noted, but I heated up the butter brown sugar mix and it was oozing out when I rolled them up. Next time I won't do that. Also, I might make them a little thinner next time. Oh yeah, I also used cream cheese icing. Yum yum yum! Thank you for this recipe!

Homemade Ice Cream Cones

My cones never got crispy, or even hard enough for using. They tasted really good though. I think I might use this recipe in a round waffle iron. I think that might work better.
