Apple Crumble Pie
About this Cook
Born and bred in Singapore and now living on the other side of the globe.Married not too long ago and we live in California since hubby in the navy.I was a city girl and never baked anythin in my whole life!Ever since I quit my job and became a "stay-home" girlfriend(now wife),fell in love with cooking and baking since I think it's very therapeutic. And it's so wonderful whipping up a global array of delicacies since my husband and I are of 2 opposite backgrounds and cultures.
My favorite things to cook
All kinds of chocolatey baked goodies!
My favorite family cooking traditions
Pineapple tarts! We bake pineapple tarts(more like filled cookies)for every Hari Raya(muslim festive holiday) and my mom will always bake a ginormous batch over a period of 3 days and me and my sis will be her little helpers allowed to only fill in the pineapple paste...and also sample every batch..YUMMMMM!!!!
My cooking triumphs
Came up with a recipe using rigattoni that became my husbands's absolute favourite of all times and also accidentally discovering a cookie using grape jelly.. ;)
My cooking tragedies
Burning toast all the time!

Apple Crumble Pie
OMG!!!Been looking for the perfect apple crumble and this is it!!My boyfriend couldnt stop raving about it.I made my own pie crust and instead of layering the apples and sugar mixture,i tossed the apples with 1/2cup white sugar,1/4cup flour and 1/2tsp cinnamon and then placed it in the crust..this way,the filling is not runny.Definitely a keeper!!Thanx for posting this magnificent recipe!!
