About this Cook
Working mother and wife, and always looking for something fast that everyone will love.
My favorite things to cook
I love to bake rolls, breads, and cookies. But rarely find the time. I also love to make fresh pasta's when I can. There is nothing like home made chicken noodle soup or fettuccini.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Growing up my favorite family cooking traditions were on Christmas Eve. We did a huge spread on Christmas day so no one had to make a meal. So we would cook all day long Christmas Eve, Cookies, pies, cake, Rolls. Everything to make the buffet for Christmas Day.
My cooking triumphs
When I was able to make a fondant cake for my sister-in-laws baby shower. So much fun learning how to do fondant. And I found a recipe that actually tastes pretty good right here on All Recipes.
My cooking tragedies
Believe it or not I ruin what should be the simplest things. I made a Mac and cheese once, and was glad we had left overs because it was not so great. I tend to relax a little too much when I think I'm making something simple. Then I ruin it.

Hidden Cheeseburger
Made these with a home made roll receipe for the bread. Turned out great. I made them mini though since I'm not a huge fan of the fat cheese burgers.

Autumn Pork Roast
Loved this recipe. I was out of apple sauce so I just blended up an apple which I think probably made it better, the apple flavor was amazing. I also used carrots instead of butternut squash and they were really good. I did it in the crock pot and just added a little water with the carrots so that it wouldn't go dry while it cooked all day about 6 hours. My husband couldn't stop talking about how good it was.
