Heavenly White Cake

I have made this cake several times and passed out the recipe to others begging for it!! I took the advice from one reviewer about changing up the steps. I recommend doing step #3, then do step #2. Your whites won't have to sit waiting that way!! Lovely wonderful cake!! I had issues making cupcakes from this recipe, as they didn't rise to a nice round dome! but sure that was my fault! Enjoy!!

Quinoa and Black Beans

I love love love this recipe!!! I changed the veg. broth to unsalted chicken broth(making it a non-vegan dish) and for the fresh Cilantro, I used dried. Course not the same, but still...!! I make this as a side dish. Yum!

Big Soft Ginger Cookies

Sugar Glazed Walnuts

I always toast my walnuts or pecans before I do anything with them. Gives them a much more flavorful taste. Toasting in a coated pan for 5 or so minutes, or when you start smelling that wonderful aroma. Take off the stove before they cook too long. Don't want them to burn. Then I do the remaining recipe.

German-Style Beet Salad

No flavor after sitting the fridge overnite. The only thing I could taste was the carrawy seeds. I'll look further for another recipe. Had to try it though.
