Banana Cake VII

It was awesome! Made some changes though.. Modified recipe to 36 servings, used margarine, added 1/2 tsp of nutmeg and 1/2 tsp of cinnamon instead of all spice and I halved the sugar..then used half brown and half white. The brown sugar gives off a lovely smell when baking! Very moist and tastes great. Slightly too greasy. Sugar definitely needs to be halved, or 1/3 less. Next time, I will try reducing the margarine slightly too.

Blueberry Coffee Cake I

Good recipe. Tastes very good. Could do with a little less sugar according to my family. I used the modifications according to previous reviews - used 1.5 cups flour and increased the milk to 3/4 cup. Do not use spray! It sticks. Well greased pan should work better.

Banana Banana Bread

Great recipe! I added 1 tsp cinnamon (will probably increase that next time), just more than 1/2 tsp nutmeg and 1/2 tsp vanilla. The spices give it an amazing aroma. I did not have loaf pans, so made them as muffins in a 12-muffin tray. Took about 15mins. Also I decreased the brown sugar by a tablespoon (as we are used to eating less sugar) and it was perfect.

Blueberry Cream Muffins

Yummiest muffins I have ever tasted. Simply awesome. I used 2/3rds wholemeal flour and 1/3rds white flour, added a pinch extra of the baking powder and about a couple of tbsp of milk to balance out the density of the wholemeal flour. Turns out absolutely perfect. Have already made several batches, will be making more with different berry combos!

Mushroom and Spinach Ravioli with Chive Butter Sauce

First time ravioli making for me. The filling is delicious, I didn't measure the mushrooms or the spinach, just eyeballed it. And substituted the cream cheese with feta. I also use half wholemeal and half white flour and added a little extra moisture to balance it out. Lovely soft ravioli was the result. I made my own red sauce to go with it.
