Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2011
The marinade and basting sauce give the chicken great flavor.

No-Noodle Zucchini Lasagna

Reviewed: Jul. 25, 2011
The flavor is quite good mine was very wet. I did salt the zucchini and omitted water. Next time I might grill the zucchini first.

Beer Can Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 21, 2011
A very good recipe. I used a 6lbs bird and grilled over indirect heat for 1h 20min. The grill was on low on the bird side and high on the empty side. The result was a perfectly moist bird. Next time I will try to increase the flavor which was good but too subtle.

Strawberry Daiquiri Pie

Reviewed: May 31, 2011
A tasty pie for summer. I forgot the frozen strawberries and substituted whipped cream for the whipped topping as suggested by another reviewer. I serve it straight from the freezer.

Roasted Red Bell Pepper Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2011
The soup is okay but not as flavorful as I had hoped. I added extra bell peppers and lots of spices (thyme, cumin, basil and oregano), It still needs more flavor to taste good.

Zucchini Brownies

Reviewed: Sep. 10, 2010
I had high hopes for these brownies based on a lot of great reviews. My outcome was not good, dry and crumbly with a weird taste. They were edible, just not good. Maybe an egg would help.

Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffins

Reviewed: Nov. 2, 2009
Wonderful muffins! I made many of the recommended changes. I added more spices to the batter (1/2t allspice, cloves, 1 t nutmeg, 1/4 t ginger). It would have been bland without these. I used 15 oz of pumpkin, and substituted canola oil. Somehow I messed up the streusel. I may oats to it next time.

Buffalo Style Chicken Pizza

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2009
Delicious. I used left over "Buffalo Chicken Rolls", substituted blue cheese for blue cheese dressing and used a Pillsbury crust. I used Tabsaco for the hot sauce. Next time, I will go to the trouble to make my own crust. There will be a next time.

Buffalo Chicken Rolls

Reviewed: Feb. 2, 2009
Delicious. I made some very small changes. I marinated the chicken for a few hours in the baking dish, then baked. I didn't roll the chicken, simply laid the cheese on top. Very easy and wonderful for my superbowl "party".

Cranberry Sauce I

Reviewed: Dec. 3, 2008
I thought this needed an extra 2T of sugar, then it was delicious. I quadrupled the recipe and we had plenty for a party of 50 people.

Clone of a Cinnabon

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2008
This is very good but not the best recipe. I thought the dough needed a little more oil/butter. I may fiddle with it to make it prefect.

Slow Cooker Kielbasa and Beer

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2008
This smelled fabulous but the sausage was very dried out. Maybe I made a mistake substituting Italian sausage. The sauerkraut, apples and carrots I added tasted yummy. But the meat was gross.

Authentic, No Shortcuts, Louisiana Red Beans and Rice

Reviewed: Nov. 11, 2008
Very good. I omitted the sausage since my ham hock was very meaty. I used some cornstarch to thicken at the end. Very good and authentic. I might try to cook the rice in with the beans next time.

Creamy Chicken and Wild Rice Soup

Reviewed: Sep. 22, 2008
Pretty good after I added additional salt and pepper. I think some vegetables like peppers, carrots and celery would help give it more flavor too.
