I've made this hummus several times. Like others say, its a good basic recipe, or perfect for kids who might be a bit finicky. I give it 5 stars for being the simplest to make & to tweak.
NOTE: If you can't find tahini, you CAN substitute (yes, you really can) with ground sesame seeds (which you can buy in a jar in the spice aisle & grind yourself) & either Orchid or Dynasty Brand Pure Sesame Seed Oil. The seeds are toasted before being pressed so the oil has a deep, rich, almost smoky flavor that makes up for the lack of tahini. I've done this many times; it works great. I also use the bean juice, add extra lemon, 1tsp cumin, 1 tsp SMOKED paprika, & smoked sea salt. LIFE-changing!! You won't be able to stay out of it!
