Tangy Grilled Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: Jul. 12, 2009
I made this the other night with pork steak and my hubby and I really liked it. I think next time though I may add a bit more chili powder to increase the bite, it was a little sweet as is. But definitely a keeper!

Black and White Cookies I

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2008
I grew up on Zaro's cookies from NYC (I liked them better than Zabar's). I followed the suggestions of some of the other reviewers, and decreased the both flours by 1/2 cup and used the frosting recipe suggested by LOVECED, and these came out as good as I remember (about 3 weeks ago I had a Zaro's Black and White). I made a half batch the first time and found they didn't take all that much time or effort, I will definitely be making these a lot! Thanks for the great recipe!!

BBQ Pork for Sandwiches

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2008
This is a great easy recipe. I used 2 pork roasts and enough beef broth to just about cover them. Cooked on low for 8 hours. After I shredded the pork I added Jack Daniel's Honey Smokehouse BBQ sauce, a little extra honey, and some of the juices from the crock pot to the casserole dish before placing in the oven. Came out as good as what we get in a restaurant. Serve on a buttered and toasted roll, can't be beat. This will be a well used recipe especially in the summer for picnics and parties!

Tandy Cake

Reviewed: Jan. 23, 2008
I used a boxed yellow cake mix since I was pressed for time, however it came out great. I made it for a friend's birthday, as this is her favorite and she loved it, the whole thing was nearly gone in 2 days. Very rich so cut into small pieces and definitely score the chocolate before it hardens completely.

Fast Chicken Soup Base

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2007
Super easy. Though I added carrots, celery, a bay leaf and some whole peppercorns while simmering the bones skin from the chicken. Definitely will make again.
