I have made the toffee/saltine recipes on this site for years, despite the fact I've had many batches turn out grainy, greasy, or sticky...but not anymore! Granted, this is the first time I've ever made this recipe, but it came out perfectly! I used 1 cup brown and one cup white sugar, and mixed chopped pecans into the toffee immediately before pouring it into the pan. I put a little bit of Christmas sprinkles on the top of the chocolate, and it looks so festive! Thank you for sharing this recipe, and for all of the helpful reviews!
