Clone of a Cinnabon

Reviewed: Jun. 5, 2011
Well I rarely rate recipes probably because most are not 5 stars but this one I had too. I made this for a morning I had a houseful of kids who love Cinnabon, and every person had seconds. They LOVED them! I made the night before also, if anyone has trouble getting them to rise after you put them in the pan you really need a warm spot, I was running the drier so I put the covered glass dish in the laundry room and closed the door, in about 45 min they rose nicely. I then put them in the fridge, the following morning I put them on the counter when the oven was preheating popped them in at 350 degrees for 25 minutes and they came out perfect. I doubled the iciing recipe since I had many kids, the only comment I heard from almost everyone was if I make them again to cut the cream cheese amt in half for Cinnabons iciing wasnt so cream cheesey tasting I would substitute with more butter, I agreed. These were amazing!!

Italian Cookies II

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2009
Wow not really an Italian cookie that I remember- these came out like a soft cake- almost like the texture if you made a cupcake into a cookie. Spongy and too soft just like cake! Not my idea of the traditional Italian cookie! Followed the recipe to the tee!!

Best Ever Chocolate Cutout Cookies

Reviewed: Aug. 9, 2007
Wow these cookies are awesome. The chocolate taste is amazing! Really flavorful!! I only refrigerated the dough for 1/2 for if you do it too long it gets crumbly. My kids ate the entire batch in one day! I cant wait to make these for Christmas!! You really have a great recipe here Krista- Great job to your Grandmother!! Yum!!
