About this Cook
I am very blessed woman to be married to an amazing man and be a Mom of a combined family of seven kids who's tastes range from picky to adventurous. My precious husband is my willing guinea pig when I decide to go rogue in the kitchen. When I'm stressed cooking/baking helps relax me and itsure it doesn't hurt to have a glass of wine at the same time.
My favorite things to cook
I enjoy trying new techniques, flavors and recipes. I also enjoy making recipes that have been passed down to me often times improving on them as well as innovating my own recipes. I love the opportunity to cook for my husband and try all my latest recipes on him; he doesn't seem to mind!
My favorite family cooking traditions
I'm from a Polish/Ukrainian heritage and grew up in a large family. I learned to cook in quantity They especially love my recipe for perogies and it's nice to be able to pass it down to the next generation of cooks
My cooking triumphs
Inventing recipes that uses whatever I have on hand and seeing my family enjoy them. Trying new techniques, and cultural flavor palates.
My cooking tragedies
Meringues that never dry out and soggy cream puff pastry. I have been know to set off an occasional smoke alarm too.

Mulligatawny Soup I
My family loves this recipe. The curry gives it a unique flavor and the apple and cream make it wonderful on cold nights. We often take it to parties and get tons of raves and recipe requests. It is one of the few recipes I don't revise at all; it's perfect exactly as is! I highly recommend doubling the recipe it's that good.

My family loves this recipe. It is a feast for the eyes, and abounds with flavor! So easy to prepare and with spectacular results that look like you've slaved over it. Thanks for sharing I now have a new summer staple to add to my grilling repertoire.

Roast Sticky Chicken-Rotisserie Style
Love this recipe, I've made it several times as listed and the results have been outstanding. I highly recommend marinating overnight otherwise the salt doesn't do its thing. I agree with the suggestion to make lots of the spice mix in advance!! The only other thing I do is to cook the chicken breast side down it just makes a good thing better. DEFINITELY TRY THIS RECIPE, YOU WON'T REGRET IT!!!
