Spinach Saute

Reviewed: Sep. 11, 2013
This was wonderful! I did add garlic powder and a little Parmesan. The best part about it was that my 4 year old had seconds and it's the first I have ever gotten her to eat spinach! We'll be making it often!

Key Lime Pie IX

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2010
This was delicious! I read the other reviews and found that many stated the pie did not set enough. So when I made it I added 1/2 an envelope of vanilla instant pudding (small box) to the mix and it came out perfect!

Jewish Coffee Cake

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2010
This was wonderful! I put the cake together the night before and put it in the fridge. The next morning I took it out and let it sit for about an hour before baking it. Then I served it warm to some gals at a meeting...everyone wanted the recipe! I used pecans instead of walnuts, brown sugar instead of powdered sugar, and part yogurt (didn't have enough sour cream). I also put 2 tablespoons of butter in the nut mixture and saved some to put on the top before baking! I will keep this in my collection of favorites!

Butternut Squash Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2009
Yum!!! This was sooooo good! I did do a few things different as many other reviewers suggested. I roasted the squash at 375 degrees with olive oil brushed on each half until soft (about an hour). I carmelized the onion in olive oil. Then pureed it with the squash and cream cheese. I didn't have marjoram so left it out. I did use a little curry powder and used only 1/2 block of cream cheese (4 oz). I'll make this again and again!

Three Olive Spread

Reviewed: Apr. 5, 2008
This was delicious! I added chopped roma tomatoes to mine. That cuts down on the saltiness and it looks prettier too! I also used a chopped instead of a food processor for bigger chuncks!

White Cheese Chicken Lasagna

Reviewed: Apr. 5, 2008
I was a little nerveous to prepare this for a dinner party because I had never tried it! It came out great! My guests loved it and all wanted the recipe! It reminded me of an Alfredo Lasagna. Very rich and creamy! I did a few things differently than the recipe stated. I used about 4 garlic cloves instead of 1, I used oven ready lasagna noodles and I used 1 package of spinach rather than 2. Thanks for the recipe!

Salmon Patties III

Reviewed: Aug. 13, 2007
Delicious! My husband thought so too! I used green onion instead of scallions. I used about 1/2 cup of prepared instant mashed potatoes in place of the red potato. I also made an aioli sauce with about 3 parts mayo, 1 part mustard and fresh minced garlic to taste. This will be a favorite!
