Four Cheese Macaroni

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2009
There seemed to be something missing as far as flavor.

Guacamole

Loved it. This only makes enough for 2-3 people. So double it if taking to a party.

Easy Baked Tilapia

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2009
My fam loved it and requested it the next day. I did add parmesan cheese and bread crumbs to the top. I didn't add the veggies and served with sauteed spinach instead. Will definetly try the veggies in the pan next time.

Fresh Southern Peach Cobbler

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2009
I am giving this recipe a 5 star since it worked with my adjustments. I substituted a mix of splenda and truvia for white sugar since that is all I had. It came out great. I am still searching for a recipe with a crusty crust.

Stuffed Turkey Legs

Reviewed: Oct. 9, 2008
My husband went and bought 4 packages of turkey legs after eating this meal. I didn't cut slits and stuff the legs. Just chopped everything up and threw it in the pot with corriander seeds. I didnt have the soy sauce but I didn't miss it. I did add water as suggested. I removed the bacon towards the end and cooked it fully in the microwave. Served with rice covered in the sauce with bacon on top. Big hit with kids too.

Easy Red Beans and Rice

Reviewed: Sep. 7, 2008
Best beans ever. I only had dry beans so thats what I used. Skipped bell pepper since I didn't have it. Had diced tomatoes with chilli peppers instead of whole so I used them. I also added cajun seasoning, 1tsp cumin, and 8 sliced jalepenos. Spicy but even my kids liked them.

Caramelized Baked Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 21, 2008
I've got the sauce to carmelize. I made the sauce as directed, added 2tsp of cornflower (NO WATER) and heated on the stove top. Poured over chicken and covered to bake. Half way through I uncovered it and turned each piece of chicken over. Continued baking uncovered. Only thing I will do differently next time is be more liberal with the seasoning.

Baked Sweet Potato Sticks

Reviewed: Jul. 13, 2008
I tried both the cinnamon and the spicy versions. The spicy version won with garlic & onion powder & paparika. I will add cayenne & chilli pepper next time. They were surprisingly good with ketchup. I baked one type in a glass pan & the other in a dark metal pan. The ones in the dark metal pan came out the crispiest. Very healthy snack.

Shrimp Scampi Bake

Reviewed: Jul. 13, 2008
This was just okay. I added more garlic and cheese as one member suggested and mushrooms. I feel it could have been more flavorful. Nothing special.

Quick and Easy Sauteed Spinach

Reviewed: Jun. 16, 2008
My family and I are in the midst of a diet change, so we are adding veggies to atleast one meal a day. This was awesome. It was scarfed down by a 3, 9, 10 and two 30 year olds. I loved the simplicity and flavor. I think it would even be great without the cheese. You won't have to threaten anyone to get these greens eaten.

Herb Roasted Pork

This was wonderful. Will definitly make again. I used foil as others suggested to keep moist, but left it in the oven a little too long after removing it. Family loved it.

A Good Easy Garlic Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 15, 2008
Kids & Hubby loved this recipe. Will be making it again. Next time I will slice the breast in half to spead up the cooking time. I did as others had suggested and used fresh garlic & onion. I also made sauce afterwards with water and cornstarch and served over noodles. The sauce was runny. I will work on that. Definitly resteraunt worthy.

Zesty Slow Cooker Chicken Barbecue

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2008
It was excellent. I added minced garlic, bellpepper, onion and 2tbls of vinegar. We made sandwiches. My kids were hesitant to eat this (they are big on hamburgers) but were speechless after the first bite. Hubby also loved.
