No need to use glaze. I used 1 c whole wheat flour with the regular flour. Turned out great.

Rib Eye Steaks with a Soy and Ginger Marinade

I make with flank steak and put in ziplock bag, sometimes marinate overnight. Really tenderizes and keeps the meat very moist. We have used recipe for several years and get requests for the recipe.

Spicy Pretzels

These are wonderful and I get requests for the recipe all the time. Not for those who don't enjoy spiciness! Have been making these for 3 years and still get asked to bring to parties.

Rhubarb Bread I

Reviewed: Jul. 21, 2008
Great recipe and very unique flavors, sometimes it comes out very moist in the middle and not sure why. Still tastes wonderful. I substituted half the flour for whole wheat, half the oil for applesauce. Had to cook longer but have made 3 times already this summer.

Banana Stuffed French Toast

Reviewed: Jul. 21, 2008
I used Hawaiian Bread and substituted orange juice for the liqueur. Added some cinnamon. Didn't need to melt butter in pan on my teflon grill. Great flavor and have made many times to good reviews.

Mom's Zucchini Bread

Reviewed: Jul. 21, 2008
Great recipe. My husband hates zucchini so I said try this and after he raved about it told him it had zucchini in it. Used 1/2 whole wheat flour, 1 c brown sugar, 1 c white sugar, 1/2 c applesauce for oil, substituted nuts for 1/2 c raisins and 1/2 c golden raisins, added more cinnamon and 1/2 tsp allspice. Made one recipe this way and another with the crunchy topping (1/4 c butter, 1/2 c oats, 1/2 c flour, 1/2 c brown sugar + cinnamon). Baked 55 minutes, very moist and flavorful.

I didn't have quinoa so I substituted wheat berries. Also added chopped red pepper, one can beans and extra spices. Very good and salad held up well in refrigerator for several days. As we ate it cold also.

Grilled Salmon Kyoto

Reviewed: Aug. 16, 2007
Great recipe, used orange juice rather than concentrate and steak sauce for the tomato sauce. Also barbecued with alder chips and it was moist and delicious. Heated marinade to serve over fried rice. Will make again this weekend for company it was so good.
